aamir543ParticipantCraft is a future NBA starter, and is gonna be in the league for a long time, he plays All-NBA first team worthy D, and does all the right things as a point guard.

otdogg1ParticipantDo you see guys see Nba potential in Craft or is he just a great college player? I feel alot of NBA teams could use a player like Craft. Probably not a starter but definitely seeing him winning nba championships with the way he plays. Gotta love it.

theprophetParticipantprobably not a starter, but don’t rule it out. derek fisher has made a living for years and even got his own rule.

bloodshyParticipantThe refs did too much damage down the stretch.
Craft made a great shot. But let’s be real about it. That ball was out on Ohio State. That never should have been Ohio State’s ball. And that was one of several so-so to bad calls that went Ohio State’s way in the final two minutes.
I picked Ohio State in my bracket, but this game should have been won by Iowa State. The refs played a big role in OSU’s victory.

aamir543ParticipantSo you don’t think he can find 25 minutes a night in a coach like Tom Thibodeau or Doug Collins’ rotation? He does enough outside of his defense that he won’t be a liability on offense.

theprophetParticipantit’s possible. whether it will happen or not, time will tell.

the I in winParticipant25 min a night behind Rose and Holiday isn’t “a future NBA starter”. Also one of those spots already belongs to Teague.

theprophetParticipantteague? it’s possible craft could take teague’s job. craft has a specialty in defense. teague is just a flashy kid with a word called potential next to it.

Taylor Gang MikeParticipantUmmm no.. hes a great COLLEGE point guard

the I in winParticipantI’m thinking craft is more of a career quality back up. Charles was quick to call out the refs after the game.

BasketballJunkie224Participantto the guy who said craft is a future nba starter….your kidding right?
0- Posted on: Sun, 03/24/2013 - 9:09am #757342
theprophetParticipanti’m saying aamir could be on to something. it is possible. he is a good role player and has a specialty. he doesn’t demand the ball but he can if it’s needed. he has a chance.

SiggyParticipantCraft could probably make it as an Earl Watson type back up point should he pursue a basketball career ( I heard he’s got a higher vocation though. He wants to be a doctor.). Playing tough defense and managing the game. I don’t see him as starter material though. He’s not good enough with the ball. He can start and stop, but he has no shiftiness or advanced ball-handling moves. His left hand is weak. He’s strong with good straight line speed, but he’s not an explosive leaper. He’s not a natural shooter either. Seems to struggle with touch from all over the floor.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantSo… you say you don’t care what others think (on your last post) yet you remake another post to attempt to elevate yourself and your opinion where you openly brag about what 80% of American adults have anyway. (home and a transportation device) Seems like you really want to prove to complete strangers that you’re a competent individual.
Yet you’re attempting to remind us that you don’t care.
Seems a bit contradicting.

Memphis MadnessParticipantHe is a cheap 3rd string point guard.

FastAndFuriousParticipantStop.
I understand you may like Craft but Craft is already 22, and outside of his defense, possibly bring not much else to an NBA team, Teague is 19 and already IN the NBA, and plays pretty well when he gets minutes….big difference between playing against Korie Luscious and doing well and playing against Deron Williams and doing well.
Craft is no Marquis Teague.
0- Posted on: Sun, 03/24/2013 - 11:33am #757413
theprophetParticipantwhy because you said so? do you have some crystal ball or something? teague has no specialty. doing well against deron williams? might want to check your box scores more closely. teague is sitting right bench as of now. he hasn’t figured out the game yet and what’s saving him right now is that the bulls have a great coach to get him on the right track. craft actually has more use for an nba team. btw, twenty two is a still young and you can’t teach the heart craft puts into the game. i’m not saying craft’s a starter, but i’m saying it could happen and don’t rule it out. – “stop” hahaha, like you (a marquis teague believer) are the only one allowed to have an opinion.

Meditated StatesParticipantIs the most underrated player in the nation. Should be higher in this mock.

FastAndFuriousParticipantTeague has no specialty?
The guy is quick as lightning, has a sick handle, and is as fast as anyone from end to end, plus a 40 inch vertical, i’d say he has a lot of specialties my friend.
Teague hasn’t figured out the game…..your right, but he’s only 19, and when he does good, that just makes me like him even more, it let me knows he’s doing good off pure talent, now just imagine WHEN Teague does learn the game, he’s going to be scary.
I’d take a 19 year old Marquis Teague over a 22 year old Aaron Craft ANYDAY.

r377ParticipantI absolutely love watching craft as a college PG. He could well be the one of the best defensive PG’s I have ever seen at collegian level – he is that good defensively !!!
As I much as like craft I just don’t know how well he will go at the next level. He is great defensively and doesn’t really hurt you on the offensive end but I think it will be borderline if he makes a roster spot in the NBA.
