That all recruits want to go to Kentucky? This year's team seems exaggerated ...
Not realize that does not benefit them, many people, less minutes, small statistics.
Archie Goodwin was a star recruit for this year, now give it as number 28 of the draft, personally, I think if I had chosen another team that was the only star (USC, for example) have large numbers at this time would be in the top 8.
Next year there will be players who will fall much, as James Young or Aaron Harrison, Julius and Andrew will be kept up by a high hype.
Made greatly missed those times (class of 2008) where the best recruits were the star of their equipment (only one star per team) and made monster being freshmans seasons, (Mayo, Beasley, Gordon, Harden, Bayless, Love, Tyreke, Oden , Sullinger, Durant, Anthony Randolph, Greene ...)
Made greatly missed ...
i posted this thread before i went to bed last night: http://www.nbadraft.net/forum/kentucky-players-returning#new
and this thread was there:http://www.nbadraft.net/forum/it-ok-storm-court-now-robert-morris-drops-kentucky-59-57#new since then we have all of these threads about or connected to kentucky: http://www.nbadraft.net/forum/kentucky-all-star-team, http://www.nbadraft.net/forum/julius-randle-picks-kentucky, http://www.nbadraft.net/forum/2013-kentucky-wildcats#new,
i can understand a thread or two on a topic but this nit losing kentucky team has sure taken over this website. why do we need five topics that could be discussed in two? there are three kentucky topics going on the home page alone. a little over kill if you ask me. just saying. i can't control what people post or anything but why do we need five topics in the last fifteen hours that are related? there are other ncaa teams out there. you know ones that are actually in the real tournament? as bad as this team was this year, they had the high ranked recruits and didn't do it. next year they have more high recruits and should win the championship. they also have the same coach.
When John Wall and them did it, it was great. When Terrence Jones returned, it worked out for them. If you have a good mix of talent, everyone has room to shine at least a little bit. There is a breaking point though where things get worse rather than better. This is that point. Its too much great talent that some of these guys wont pan out. It hurts their development. Some of these guys will be good, others will get lost in the sauce. I could care less if UK gets every top player, but the recruits have to be smarter. I really dont understand why Randle chose UK over KU or Florida. I wouldve loved for him to go to NC State, especially with Parker in the ACC, the new teams, and possibly Wiggins at FSU or UNC. It doesnt seem as if these players are interested in challenging themselves in the slightest.
I'm sure you, the casual basketball fan, is much more adroit at making life decisions for someone that you've never met than the kid himself, and his parents. I'm sure all the people around Randle, his coaches and close family friends, I'm sure there all wrong too, and it's you, who in fact is correct. You should probably call him and tell him he's making a bad decision. I'm sure he'll listen to you.
did I say Randle made a bad decision??? Did I say he was wrong and I was right? I simply said that I dont understand why he chose UK over the other teams. UK is going to help him achieve his goals I am sure, but you need to learn how to read and STFU if you dont.
At the time that Ohio State Greg Oden team was kind of a super team. That team had three 5 star prospects in Mike Conley Jr., Daequan Cook, and Greg Oden then they had two 4 star players David Lighty and Othello Hunter.
