XYRYXParticipantThoughts about Game 1 so far.
Kawhi with foul trouble a non factor so far in the offensive end.
Manu and Allen both with huge games so far and the Spurs now up by 4 with 4 minutes left after Green made his first 3 pointers and field goals of the game!
The Spurs Box Score is almost looking like a Thunder Box Score with Kawhi and Green beeing irrelevant offensively until the forth quarter but they keep moving the ball and hang on.
When Wade plays, he always delivers this year. Probs for beeing tough with his bad knees and having very efficient playoffs so far.

Flameres15ParticipantAlso, did Pop wait until the 4th to unleash Danny Green?

WITNESS2014ParticipantThat isn’t on Pop, Danny Green just wasnt hitting his shots until the 4th. I knew he would eventually catch fire.

XYRYXParticipant38 year old Timmy finished with 21 and 10 going 9-10 from the field and 3-4 from the line.
There have not beein many 38 year old guys who pulled of games like this on a regular basis. Maybe Malone or Kareem but heck Tim Duncan is incredible!

llperezpop deserves a ton of credit for monitoring duncans minutes for a long time now. Duncans first 7 years, he was above 37 minutes per game every season and usually close to 40 minutes per. The past 10 seasons, he has not averaged 35 minutes once. And the last 5 seasons has been right around 30minutes including under 30 minutes 3 of the past 4 seasons.

PhillytheKidRay Allen – what is he drinking. What is his diet. I want to be on that. At one point he looked like the youngest guy out there.
Heat Defense – just too strong. Did the same thing to the pacers. Play the passing lanes. Too many careless Spurs turnovers got frustrating. Manu and Tony were the biggest culprits.
Lebron Defense – anyone see him D-up Timmy?! Chris Bosh looked like a girl trying to guard Timmy while Lebron was muscling him up. That was very impressive.
Spurs X-factors – Danny Green turned it on late but he was TERRIBLE in the middle quarters. Patty Mills is a stud off the bench. He and Bellinelli came to BALL. Love role players locked in and playing hard. Mills needs more minutes. He’s the only guy that plays fast on the Spurs. Only guy on Spurs unaffected by heat.
Lebron – I thoguht he was barely sweating in the middle quarters. I thought the heat would catch up to the Heat who are not as deep as the Spurs. The Spurs are too deep and too skilled.
My call – I think the Spurs will win but its very close to call. As long as the Spurs dont’ turn the ball over and keep shooting lights out from the 3 point line. Spurs hopefully in 5, but probably in 7. Great drama, great series.
