One source close to the situation told ESPN.com’s Marc Stein that the Portland Trail Blazers were forced to waive oft-injured center Greg Oden — selected No. 1 overall in the 2007 draft over Kevin Durant — to help create sufficient roster space to accommodate all the players Portland acquired in separate trades with New Jersey and Houston on Thursday.
The Blazers also waived young center Chris Johnson.
What now for Oden? He’d look good in Bucks jersey if healthy seeing as they dont have a center on their roster.
