Good Im glad Lebrick doesnt want to play with the Knicks. But lets be honest here…Adrian Wohnarowski is a well chronicled Knick hater…and bashes them any chance he gets. So the Knicks wont get Lebrick because their presentation supposedly lacked preparedness and organization? I guess the dvd they showed him had a scratch on it or something and was skipping…or the paperwork was all crumpled up…ok. So if the Knicks get Amare..of whom Lebrick wanted the Cavs to acquire before the trade deadline this past year, hes gonna say “well I would like to join you in New York, but that dvd they showed me was skipping and the paperwork was all crumpled up…so Im stayin in this dump of a city Cleveland instead.” Makes perfect sense Q_Q

James’ camp categorized New York’s presentation as ‘lacking preparedness and organization.’

Aspects of the Nets’ presentation earlier on Thursday were similar in nature to New York’s and were ‘sharper’ and ‘edgier’.

James has reservations about the possibility of his earning potential being greater in New York than in Cleveland to make up a $30M difference in salary.

    —————–

Really, the whole “don’t worry about the fact that we can’t offer you as much in salary as Cleveland and we know our roster stink, also just ignore that we have to history of building a successful team, but we’re still New York” pitch didn’t work? I’m stunned. If only they had Danilo Gallinari in the picture to seal the deal for them, oh wait.

Anyway, at what point does New York suck it up and just go buy a real point guard from somewhere. They’ll still get Amare, but forget the other big name. Sell your cap space to Toronto for Calderon. Maybe try to work a sign-and-trade with David Lee and Minnesota to get Sessions and bodies. Heck, maybe absorb Biedrins from Golden State in order to get Monta Ellis. Absorb Peja for a year or Posey to get Collison.

i understand it is lebron and it’s a big deal and rightfully so. But "there presentation was lacking preparedness and orginization’? Jezz, people are really kissing his ass here. Guess what lebron, we are gonna pay you the max and try and build a winner. How about that for a presentation?

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports went on the air with Michael Kay on ESPN Radio to discuss points he made in a story Wojnarowski published Friday.

In that story, Wojnarowski wrote that the Knicks had been virtually eliminated from the race to sign LeBron James and that he was unimpressed with New York’s presentation to him Thursday.

Shortly after the segment with Wojnarowski, a representative of the Knicks called Kay to refute the Wojnarowski story and the claims made by his sources. Further the Knicks suggested that someone may be attempting to undermine their chances to sign James. The team insisted that its presentation to James was successful and apparently well received.

Wojnarowski also includes claims that James was turned off by Donnie Walsh’s need to use a wheelchair due to a neck ailment, and that James was similarly deflated by owner James Dolan’s appearance.

There have been rumblings in recent days that those closest to James are concerned about him playing for the Knicks and what implications that might hold for the power balance around the superstar. There have been some indications that Maverick Carter, James’ closest friend, is opposed to a move to the Knicks.

However, the status of Wojnarowski’s anonymous sources is unclear since he only generically cites “sources” but does not indicate their position in relation to James, or their particular knowledge of James’ reactions to the presentations he received on Thursday.

How could the Knicks prepare a winning presentation when their centerpiece is Danilo Gallinari?

yea I mean Gallinari is no good, I mean he only averaged 15ppg 5rpg in basically his rookie season and hes only 21 yrs old. Gallinari likes to take the big shot and guard the best player on the other team..he thrives in pressure situations. But you wouldnt know that cause Im sure youve probly only seen him play once or twice. And in all honesty if Lebron came to NY I would still want Gallinari to take the game winning shot. Cause Lebron has never proved that he can take and make the big shot or the big free throws. (except for that one luck ass shot against Orlando last yr)

this is nonsense no way knicks were “unprepared” they started preparing 2 years ago. Lebron knows where he wants to go, donnie in a wheelchair should have no effect on what he chooses, if he is that much of a diva he can go fuck himself. Never heard so much bullshit involving a player before, his possie is getting annoying who else has a group of some fucking bum hood rats following them everywhere and getting jobs and acting like they know what they are talking about. Maverick Carter opposed the move to the Knicks because he knows he will lose his power and go back to being a nobody. This shit is getting retarded, never heard of a player making his decisions on the quality of a powerpoint, you know the players you know the plan the city the team either you like it or not, saying donnies appearance makes his decisions for him is absurd.

wade and bosh both loved the presentation, bosh went on to say he was more excited today with the knicks than yesterday with everyone else, wade said he is in a new york state of mind and the offer is very intriguing. Yet the guy they prepared for the most says they were unprepared? Either bogus or Lebron is a bitch and I don;t want him in the orange and blue.

and btw Gallinari, Amare, Chandler, Walker, TD = better core than any other team with cap space.

    Amare + Gallo > Rose + Noah

becaue they fit A LOT better with Lebron.
Miami has 2 players under contract and noone wants either one..enough said
    Cleveland don;t get me started
Nets play in NJ don’t even deserve a chance

    The Knicks aren’t getting LeBron.

I still believe he is going to stay in Cleveland.
