Jimmer Freddette (BYU)- A strong bodied 6’2 PG…Can score the ball extremely well…Very good shooter…Makes tough shots…Gets to the lane with his handle and pick and rolls…Really good changing directions with the ball…Has a bunch of shots around the rim…Not a pure PG…Not great athletic ability…Will struggle on D…A perfect fit for a running team like the Knicks, Magic, or Warriors…Stephen Curry 2.0?

Randy Culpepper (UTEP)- Extremely explosive 6’0 combo guard…Freak athlete…Dynamite scorer…Sweet jump shoot…Gets to the bucket…Ball thief…Extremely small (6’0 165) with little to 0 PG skils…Will fall asleep on D…A bit selfish…Reminds me of Nate Robinson, but even Nate can play SOME PG…I hope he makes it…Sleeper prospect

Julyan Stone (UTEP)- Big size for a PG at 6’6…Has the floor vision that comes with his height…Strong passing and ball-handling skills…Nice athlete…Can defend 3 positions…Not going to score much…Poor shooter…Needs to add strength…SLEEPER prospect for next year…Nice talent…Heard it here 1st

Shelvin Mack (Butler)- Strong bodied 6’2 scorer…Pretty good shooter, especially pulling up off the bounce…Can get to the lane a little…Bulldog on D, like you’d expect from a Butler guard…Can play without the ball…Not a true PG or natural playmaker…Lacks a bit athleticism and quickness…2nd round prospect in 2011 or 2012

Greg Smith (Fresno)- Big-bodied frontcourt guy (6’10 250)…Decisive in his moves…Unpolished yet decent post game…Strong…Fairly explosive finisher…Pretty good rebounder…Has upside…Needs time and polish…Has to develop a go-to move…Not a great post defender despite his size…2011 or 2012 1st round prospect

    Wesley Witherspoon (Memphis)- Long 6’8 point-forward…Has developed a strong spot-up jumper…Pretty good ball-handling skills…Nice quickness…Has elite defensive ability and potential…Shows flashes passing the ball…Not a scorer…A bit weak…Still a bit raw…Has Tayshaun Prince-esque potential…2011 1st rounder

Joe Jackson (Memphis)- Super quick 6’0 combo guard…Great athlete…High level scorer, especially off the bounce…Great in transition…Not a PG…Not a great defender either other than pressuring the ball…A little weak…Doesn’t project great to the NBA because of his size and lack of PG skills…Still a 2012 or 2013 guy

    Jelan Kendrick (Memphis)- 6’6 SG/SF…Crafty scoring instincts…Fine mid-range game…Long build…Good handle…Decent athlete…Not strong right now…Needs time…Looks like a 4 year guy…Eerily similar to former Tiger player Chris Douglas-Roberts

Elias Harris (Gonzaga)- Combo forward with good athleticism…Good size for a SF spot…Very energetic and moves without the ball…Strong…Has raw offensive ability, but can still score a little…Rebounds extremely well…Shaky handles…Not the slasher he could be…Limited shooter…Likely mid-1st rounder next year…Matt Barnes comparison

Afam Muojeke (Wyoming)- Physically gifted 6’7 210 SG/SF with outstanding athleticism…Can score in transition and shows a good shot…High defensive potential…Very rough around the edges…Plays a little wild…Old for his class…Needs time..2011 or 2012 prospect

    Chris Wright (Dayton)- Strong athlete at 6’7 220…Great transition player…Pretty strong…Can slash because he’s got a strong 1st step…Good on the glass…Has defensive potential…Lacks much shot-creating ability…Can’t shoot…2nd round guy in 2011

Lavoy Allen (Temple)- 6’9 PF …Outstanding passing and unselfishness for a low post guy…Solid back to basket player…Pretty good post defender…Nice touch…Needs to improve his strength a bit…Not real athletic…Could get more aggressive and tough…Average physically…2nd round 2011 prospect…

Arnett Moultrie (Miss. State, formerly UTEP)- 6’10 220 PF with interesting skills…Can face-up and score…Great athlete with long arms…Raw but nice skill set…Needs to get stronger…A bit soft and passive…Not a good defender, especially for someone with his profile…Late 1st-early 2nd round prospect in 2012

Jimmer Fredette is my sleeper pick for NCAA player of the year.
The guy is a big time scorer, i think he can go for around 24-25 ppg next year and if he has good assist numbers he can win it.
He’s Stephen Curry with a little less athleticism.

    Heres some more

    Kenneth Faried- Morehead State
Athletic forward who really hustles and can grab rebounds
Hes a likely 2nd round pick, but someone could take him in the first

    Jahmar Young- New Mexico State
A good scorer, with solid height for a SG.
Has the ability to go on big scoring runs on his own.
    Decent passer and rebounder aswell.
Could be worth a 2nd rounder.

I agree with basically everyone you mentioned

Good loking out on the Jahmar Young and Kenneth Faried one Rdot. I agree with both of those too. Jahmar Young is a nice scorer too….I like his game.

Will Barton (Memphis)- Quick and long 6’6 SG…The raw ability to put the ball in the basket…Explosive open floor speed…Likes to play D…A bit wild and ball-dominant…Not a great ball-handler…Extremely skinny and weak…2011 or 2012 1st round prospect

I see some similarities between Arnett Moultrie and Craig Brackins and I think Moultrie will go around #20 similar to how Craig did

I like Murray, but he isn’t ready yet, I’ve seen him play and Lavoy Allen dominates him everytime they play Temple.

What about Juan Fernandez? Heard rumors he’s leaving school to play pro in Argentina.

Freddette will be lucky, very lucky, to get a shot at the next level, most likely he will not. He is a horrible defender. I mean, as good as an offensive threat as he is, a la Adam Morrison, his defense will be his demise. At least Morrison had size going for him. Freddette is not a typical PG, very much a shoot first guy. He doesn’t make his teammates any better, just bolsters his own stats by hoisting shot after shot. He might have the shooting abilities of Curry, but he is nowhere near the kind of passer, and nowhere near as athletic as Curry.

Jimmer Freddette will definitely play in the NBA…..He’s no worse an athlete than Stephen Curry is either. Probably a little less quick, but lets not act like Curry is some great athlete because he’s not. Put him on a team where offense if key, like the teams I listed and maybe a team like the Lakers, and he’ll be just fine. He’s not going to be a good defender, but he’s definitely a good enough scorer. And even though he’s not a great playmaker, he’s good enough to stick at the next level.
