highflyer0ParticipantWhat are some predictions about this upcoming draft class that seem very obvious to you, despite the fact that they are hotly debated by scouts and fans alike. Don’t worry if your views are unpopular. I’ll start off.
Deandre Kane will be a solid NBA player, even though he’ll be one of the last players drafted. I’m not sure why he wouldn’t be good.
Doug McDermott will be an average player, borderline starter.
Julius Randle will be great, borderline all-star or better.
Russ Smith will be a great bench player and will have a better career than tons of guys drafted before him.
Elfrid Payton will be a top 10 player from this draft.

CameronCrazy11ParticipantNik Stauskas is more than just a shooter and can create offense on his own. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him average 17-18 ppg during his prime on a good team.
Zach Lavine reminds me too much of Gerald Green to take him with anything higher than about 23-25.
Julius Randle’s and Jabari Parker’s athletic abilities are being underrated because they’re being compared to Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid, aka two of the most athletic players for their position this century.

kazamParticipantI’m with you on Stauskas. I think he has the ability to have a career that mirrors that of Allan Houston. Not saying that it will materialize but I think the potential is there. Similar type of players in my eyes. Though I doubt Stauskas will ever be the second highest paid player in the L at any point in time.

CameronCrazy11ParticipantI actually have Allan Houston/Dan Majerle as a best case scenario for Stauskas in my mock draft

drice4life1753ParticipantAllan Houston is a very interesting comparison. Never thought of that, and I like it.
