If you were about to get drafted, who would you want to sign with?

For the record, I have had many basketball kicks (different brands) over the years and just can’t go past Nike.

    =)

Nike for sure. Never been a big fan Adidas, except the Pro Models and T-Mac’s signature shoes. I think my disinterest in them started with the whole "Adidas curse" thing. Adidas guys seemed to always manage to get injured (T-Mac, D Rose, Dwight Howard, etc.) and there was a time where I refused to hoop in anything but Nike/Jordan. Nike gear is just more comfortable to me. On a less personal and business minded note, Kanye said the reason he left Nike for Adidas was because Nike didn’t allow people much creative control. I can definitely see that. Adidas seems like they’ll let YOU make YOUR shoe. I love the way their shoes look lately with all the patterns and color ways. However, I’m stuck in my ways lol. Nike

Nike all the way… On a side note tho, Ben Simmons signed with Adidas which was kinda surprising to me.

I heard about Ben, but didn’t think it was confirmed, as articles I read were really just speculation. Do you have a link with real confirmation?

I guess he hasn’t signed yet. But reports state that he "will" sign with Adidas.

Tough one for me. I played for team adidas in the 90’s on the aau circuit. Played in adidas in hs but played in Nike in college. I ruptured my achilles playing in Nike so I swore them off for awhile so I guess I’m still on the fence….

I’m an adidas guy though. I somehow get cramps when wearing Nike and I’m more comfortable in adidas anyways so yeah.

I always had the Nike Air Max when I was a kid, never had Adidas and couldn’t afford Jordan’s. On a sorta side note the AI’s from reebok were my favorite, they lasted me a couple years.

I would like to be different. I know I’m in a minority here but adidas has certainly improved their brand over the past couple of years. Their boost technology is simply amazing IMO. Definitely my favorite basketball shoes I’ve worn. Crazylight Boost 2015 and D Rose 6 are really good shoes.

Talk about the "adidas curse", as unfortunate as it is, major injuries have happened to their major endorsers but you can’t full blame a shoe brand for that. Rose and T-Mac were prime examples of adidas endorsers that had knee troubles but you have to remember that Dame and Wiggins are adidas endorsers too and they’ve been pretty healthy so far.

Of the 2, I’d sign with Nike. But I’d sign with Under Armor over both.
