Nick Young

If anyone knows like I know Young should not be on the Block at all.....he has 24pts in the 3rd already.

I have been waiting for him to breakout for the longest Wiz up 70-63 asof now on the Heat No Wall No Gil all Young

All he does is score. That's

All he does is score. That's the only reason I dislike him.

If there was a NBA dictionary and there would be Nick Young's name and picture right next to the words Ball-Stopper.

Yeah Young is one of my

Yeah Young is one of my favorite players. He plays with flair on the court and he has some truly big-time moves for a young player, but he's SUPER one-dimensional. He has to do something besides score to develop into more than the true bench scorer he is.

He averages 2.1 rebounds and

He averages 2.1 rebounds and 0.6 assists. I mean, he can be a ALL offense starter but even when I seen him play, I don't think he's anything but average on D.

Nick has really broken out

Nick has really broken out this season. He has been shooting LIGHTS OUT this season. He always struggled with consistency, but he has been consistent all season so far. He is playing the Ray Allen-role for the Wizards. He mainly coming off screens to catch-&-shoot, and occasionaly taking it to the rack. He's been hitting contested shots too. And he's always been know as a bad defender, but this season, he has arguably been the Wizard best perimeter defender, and Flip Saunders has made good remarks about his defense this season. Yeah he is VERY one-dimensional, but why pass when you're hot every game. He was the Wizards 6th man, but now that Gilbert was traded, he will be inserted into the starting lineup, and in his first start, he's played GREAT.

Yea but even last season

Yea but even last season where he got alot of run because trades and the team sucked, he didn't prove he was a 3 assists guy. He didn't prove he was a 4 rebound guy either.

Much respect to Nick Young. I like him because he can score and like Iggy9 said, his ways to score are crafty for his age BUT all he does is score alot. If you want, we can count the average D.

Yeah but everyone is buying the Heats regular season

fools gold. Nick Young will not be a great starter on any good team. Yeah he can start, but that team won't be winning many games. Yeah Nick can score and I have noticed his jumper has been more consistent this year, but like other people said ball stopper. The kid is best suited as a scorer coming off the bench. Needs to except a Jason Terry type role and I think he will find success on a winning team that way.
