I like the direction the Lakers are going, their starting to fill their roster with players who will flourish in Dan Antoni's system...I just think they need to make a few more moves...I would trade Jordan Hill and Steve Blake to the Pistons, for the expiring contract of Charlie Villanueva. Dan Antoni was never a favorite of Jordan Hill from their time together on the Knicks, so this trade makes sense...Villanueva is a stretch big man who can go out as far as beyond the 3 point line and stroke it...After this trade, the Lakers should then follow up with signing of a guard to fill Blake's old spot, in either Daniel "Boobie" Gibson, Sebastian Telfair, or Royal Ivey
Lakernation would be thrilled seeing Charlie v's face every game day for a season.
It could be the beginning of a new career for Charlie...Guy who plays the monster in horror movies. Dude's like 6'10'' and has no eyebrows, a little bit of makeup and movie magic and he could be the new Jason!
I'm surprised no ethically perfect person tried to shame you for his disease. Dude looks odd.
Its a shame that you guys are talking about the man's looks instead of his game. He suffers from a disease that causes hair loss, what do you want him to do about it? This isn't TMZ or any other gossip outlet. This is a basketball forum and we should stick to that. You guys are pathetic.
here's mr. perfect ethics, your arrived late.
Comon' it's a don thread. Just making a joke, maybe a little crass, but if this is that offensive then I would never watch any stand up comedy...ever,if this were a serious thread actually about his game it'd be another thing.
I think the Lakers should part with their coach. I don't see it working in LA and not sure why they hired him in the first place, other than the fact that Kobe approved it.
Why would the Pistons make that deal? Stuckey's deal plus Charlie V's coming off the books thats some serious cash plus they need to resign Monroe
Blake & Jordan Hill have expiring deals also, so it won't hurt either team
And why would Detroit want Blake or Hill?
I actually like Jordan Hill and D'Antoni has given him minutes and if he stays healthy, I can see him being a key asset to the Lakers going forward. Hill was young in New York and I know sometimes a coach can move past former transgressions in order to win. If Hill and two of the New comers blossom, Lakers may be better sooner than many believe. I think Henry has enough talent that with Kobe pushing him and helping him with his game, he could be a stud. Also I believe Wes is pretty good but was in the wrong system for his game. Also Lakers now have better depth than they had before. They just need to add a middle aged veteran like Telfair because they are pretty old at the PG spot.
that idea works if the lakers tank and cut villanueva like fab melo was cut after being traded.
Dan Antoni?? Seriously?? hahahahaha you are my favorite poster on this forum
