Rubio's team was paying him less then 100k per season and the buyout is for over 6 million that must come out of his own pocket? He was getting screwed. No wonder he wants to come to the NBA. Also, I thought Rubio was a star in Europe, so how does he get a fraction of what guys like Jennings and Childress are pulling in over there.

he gets less cuz he signed the contract when he was like 14

and yea his buyout is like 60 times his salary soooo that is just crazy
