Kinguy11ParticipantWOOT!
OK, but in all seriousness we could have easily got this. Piri Weepu’s kicking game sucked so much that if we lost, we could all easilly blame him. Both teams defence were better then the other teams offense so there wasn’t a lot of scoring oppotunities and when there was both teams failed to take them. Owen Franks and Richie McCaw’s tackling game was vital in that final and Thierry was in truth the only player that kept france in the game with his defenive display (which will probably be brushed aside because he was the french try-scorer). Kieran Reid and Stephen Donald both had good games as well with his smashing through the line and great kicking (not just goal-kicking) respectively. Overall it was dirty but we got the job done and won, which is all that matter’s.

MJ FOR LIFE 23Participant@Kinguy11 Yeah I don’t know what happened to Piri’s game last night he was the one who turned the ball over as well allowing the French to score the try. Still think he’s the man though. McCaw was everywhere last night somehow getting to the wings or just turning the ball over at the ruck, I actually thought he was gonna be the man of the match. Line-outs were horrendous as well and we were outmatched during scrum time. But in the end our defence prevailed (and with Donald’s goal kick that will forever be remembered as the kick that won the world cup). World Champs baby. Yea Ya!
P.S. I was drunk when I posted the topic last night, so I don’t know why I went on this site cos usually I go to facebook to post I’m drunk haha

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantCongrats. I’m surprised France was in this one to be honest, I thought Wales was a far superior team and would beat them in the semi. But good on the French side for regrouping and playing hard till the end.
