CavFanPRParticipantCleveland trades: Luol Deng
Phoenix trades: Emeka Okafor & first round pick from Phoenix
Cavs get a draft pick for this upcoming draft class. The suns get a 2 time all star (huge upgrade over Tucker) and make a run at the playoffs and hopefully, avoid a first round exit.

DolanCareParticipantThis trade only makes sense if the Cavs are certain that Irving is out the door. If that’s not the case, then Deng can’t be moved. The team has been playing so much better with Deng there. Luol is the leader and heart of Cleveland even though he just got there.

machu46ParticipantI agree about not trading Deng unless they plan on moving Kyrie at some point, but are you sure they’re a lot better with Deng? They’re 6-10 since acquiring him.

DolanCareParticipantDon’t get me wrong, the Cavs are still a bad team. But since getting Deng, they are undoubtedly more compeititive. They’ve pulled out quality wins- the W against Memphis was especially impressive.

hbomb3300ParticipantWhich Suns 1st round are we talking about here? As long as it wasn’t the Pacers pick I would defenitly do it if I was the Cavs… but then again I didn’t like the Deng trade in the first place. I just don’t see the point of barely making the playoffs and losing in the first round.
