Dmarc23ParticipantKyle Anderson at 13 was a surprise I still think he’s gonna struggle at the next level..
Andrew Harrison Has been Balling out Lately and is coming out this year!
Julius Randle at 7 is a joke
PJ Hairston will be in the lottery when its all said and done….

flopdownDEverybody (including myself) praises embiid because of how he plays basketball in such a small period of time after being intruduced to bb, WELL… This apply to Willie Cauley Stein, the dude just started playing basketball and he will be one of the (if not THE) fastest center in the NBA. I’ll take him earlier than21. Really good shot blocker with potential to get better, runs the floor like a gazelle and reads ALL open lanes

Chilbert arenasParticipantAgree with Anderson, his numbers are undeniable but if speed kills this guy couldn’t hurt a fly, and also I’d really like to see if he’s going to be able to put up the 185 at the combine.
Vonleh over Randle, thought I disagree, I understand it, I think Vonleh will measure much better than Randle at combine.
Don’t know how McAdoo snuck into the first round again but he better sneak right back out.
Finally, I’m an Arizona fan, love Nick Johnson, but he’s a 6’2 shooting guard who can jump out the gym, but isn’t fast, nor quick with the ball. I don’t see it, then again Soloman Hill went first round.

BKGingerSnapParticipantMarcus Smart may end up being the 4th pick because how many people are high on his character but as an SU season ticket holder these past years his game reminds me a lot of Dion Waiters. Both are powerful 6’4 combo guards who are very inconsistant streak shooters who put decent assist numbers despite hunting primarily for his own shot. Waiters went 4th so maybe Smart will too but I bet Smart falls outside the top 8 on draft night.

jwall1ParticipantThis is ridiculous. First of all, their biggest difference is attitude. Dion Waiters is an absolute prick why’ll Smart is a humble guy with alot of character on the floor. His shot selection is not perfect, but its improving and its not like he chucks shots like Waiters does. Smart actually playes defense and can pass/rebound the ball, unlike Dion Waiters.

machu46ParticipantThe only similarity I see between Dion and Smart is that they’re both a thicker 6’4" guard, and their shooting mechanics are kinda similar. Otherwise, Smart is a much better prospect. And I too have been at every Syracuse game since before Dion arrived there, but the comparison just doesn’t really work.

omphalosParticipantIf Kyle Anderson gets picked in the lottery that GM needs to be fired. Don’t let college production fool you, he has no chance of being a productive NBA player.

marquee_markParticipantNo chance of being productive? That seems a little extreme. He’ll, in all likelihood, never be a star or a player to build around but he can contribute in many ways off the bench. He can handle the ball, has great court vision, is a solid rebounder despite his lack of athleticism, and his shot is really falling this year. He should bring a lot of versatility to a 2nd unit.

jwall1ParticipantI agree, Randle at 7 is outrageous. Vonleh and Exum are too high, Harris is too low. This would be my top 10…
1. Embiid
2. Parker
3. Smart (I prefer Smart over Wiggins, but I understand why some have him over Smart)
4. Wiggins
5. Randle
6. Harris
7. Exum
8. Vonleh
9. Lavine
10. Hood

druneave3ParticipantMost will/have said Randle at 7 is crazy, but I could see him falling even more. This is obviously coming from someone who is not high on him but you could argue that the next several players after Randle here all have more potential.
Kyle Anderson has been playing great but what position is able to guard at the next level? He has shown some good defensive awareness and quick hands. He could play a nice role as a bench player who can create some offense with his playing making ability and size to see and make plays over the defense, but I don’t think you can have him on the floor for long stretches and at crucial times because of that lack of foot speed and defensive inabilities. Will he be able to rebound at this rate at the next level?
A bunch of talented players in the early second round. This draft is so deep. You have a bunch of guys from numbers 31 to 41 who could have long careers in the league. Clint Capela intrigues me too.
Don’t see how Gordon goes so late. WCS too for that matter.
Have only seen TJ Warren play a few times this year but looks so much better than last, in terms of physique, aggresiveness and effort. He might go a bit higher. (Would have been nice to see a trio of Barber, Purvis, and Warren this year for NC State)

Mr. HookShotParticipantRegarding Randle: I think people got scared a little bit after seeing T-Robinson dominate in CBB based on strenght, and seeing him struggling in the NBA afterwards

IhateusernamesParticipantKevin Durant couldnt bench 185 at the combine, and it has killed his NBA career. His disappointing 31.3ppg would probably be 41ppg if he could just pump some iron.
Kyle Anderson may be no more than a 8th man in an NBA rotation, but not because of his bench press numbers.
Julius Randle falling to 7th would be the worst mistake since Paul Pierce and Dirk falling to 10th.
Still wouldnt take Embiid over Parker. The NBA has overvalued size way too long. (Olowakandi/Bibby, Oden/Durant, Darko/Melo) I just dont think you pass up a "can’t miss" for a "could be".

machu46ParticipantI don’t think it’s an insult to Randle at all if he drops to 7. The only guy that would really be a surprise going ahead of him is Vonleh, and it could very well happen if Vonleh continues to knock down his 3’s while offering more defense and comparable rebounding to Randle.
Personally, I have Embiid, Wiggins, and Exum in the top 3, and then Jabari, Randle, Smart, and Vonleh can go in any order from 4-7 (but in reality, I expect that Jabari will go in the top 3).

imAboutDatActionParticipanti wouldnt label Parker a ‘ cant miss’
his lack of quickness and overall athletic ability worries me. we are seeing now he lacks to beat people off the dribble and relies to much on his jumper cus of that. thats why he had his struggles before yesterday, people know how to play him and realize they cant beat him off the dribble so now he’s relying on contested jumpers, which werent going in. his shooting % has dropped across the board since the start of the season.
he isnt a good defender either. with his lack of athleticism and laterall quickness i doubt he can guard NBA 3’s. he’s also not long enough to guard 4s,and i doubt the team that drafts him would want him down in the post getting a beating
theres questions about him. he’s not a cant miss imo. i’d draft embiid and wiggins over him due to their upside and ceiling which is light years ahead on both sides of the ball.

vulture711ParticipantI am just hoping to stay in that 3 slot. I would gladly nab whichever crumb (Wiggins or Parker) falls there. The Pelicans pick is a bonus and can be used for most anything.

JoeWolf1I like the rise of Vonleh. I was talking about him the other day, and even in a sub-par offensive game (mostly because he didn’t shoot much) versus Illinois the other day, he effected the game in so many ways. He hauled in 14 rebounds, ran the floor well, and displayed nice defensive IQ and instinct switching and following pick and rolls.
He’s not the college scorer Randle is, but he’s bigger, longer (7’3” wingspan), a better defender, and his emerging face up game I think is a great indicator he’ll be a pick and pop threat at the next level. He’s a much better shooter facing up outside the block than Julius, although his post offense is still quite a bit behind.
If Vonleh and Randle were on the board at 6 and my team had the pick, I don’t know that I’d take Randle without giving a hard look at Vonleh. I think they’re really close right now.

tidhoParticipantI don’t know how many of these picks will be correct, but there is one on there that absolutely will not be…..Second round or not, Cavaliers are not taking a 6’8" PF out of UNLV anywhere in this draft.

The QParticipantFor my Celtics the dream draft is on the table…obviously realtive to being pick 4.
Exum/WCS is a killer draft IMO. WCS and Sullinger at the 4/5 actually works and Exum can either play off the ball for Rondo or potentially replace him (and Avery Bradley guarding 1s on D). He’s a perfect fit here and a classic Danny Ainge pick.

imAboutDatActionParticipantRandle dropping to 7 isnt a joke. he has real flaws and questions about how he’ll fair in the Pros.
its all being said already.short arms, not much bounce under the rim,not a good passer of the post, bad defender, lacks overall focus on D,relies too much on overpowering competitors, and at 6’9,if he measures in even an inch shorter than what he is,than his draft stock will take a major hit.Noah has a much higher ceiling than Randle on both sides of the ball.
other than that, the rest is a joke really. SlowMo will not crack the lottery,no matter how good he plays, due to his lack of athleticism, quickness, and laterall movement.i do expect him to go in the 1st round though,he’s a real intrigueing player,i like him.
Mcadoo will not be drafted in the 1st,Nick Johnson wont either,Harrell stock is dropping,Glenn robinson is too high,Gordon(if he goes in the draft) will not drop out the lottery due to his athleicism, motor, and defensive ability.TJ warren is a 2nd rounder at this point.James Young will crack the lottery and wont touch the 20s.Tyler Ennis will not be drafted in the lottery due to his limited upside.
and i’d put Wiggins at 2 and move Parker to 3.
