New Jersey Nets workout with Terrence Williams
I think it was bound to happen that more of the solid, mature, less-upside picks would start to rise. This is a very uncertain draft. A guy who has played 4 years and might be ready to play right away and be a solid 7/8 man is valuable right now. Some teams dont want to wait 3 or 4 years hoping some of these guys ever really develop. I think TW and TH and a few others will do better on draft night than many of us originally thought because even if they never make and all-star team or start every game, they can produce - a rebound here, an asst there, and a solid screen - in small ways.
I have said all along that Terrence Williams reminds me of Paul Pressey, a point-forward that played for the Milwaukee Bucks in the 80's. Well, who coached that team? Don Nelson.
Don't be surprised to see the Warriors take him at #7.
