New Jersey is the most logical choice for Lebron

If im Lebron, I go to New Jersey. I just think they have a bright future. Imagine this line up

PG John Wall (Could be as good as Derrick Rose with defense)
SG Terrence Williams (Unselfish player who does everything well except score)
SF Lebron James (Not much to say here)
PF Yi Jianlian (The perfect PF to play with Lebron, try and double team Lebron and this guy will knockdown outside shots)
C Brook Lopez (Will average 20pts 10 Reb 2 Blk next season)

And that leaves them with Devin Harris who is an attractive trade bait. Perhaps they can ship him off to a team that needs a PG like Grizzlies for OJ Mayo, or trade for a solid defensive PF, or they can just keep him and turn him into the best 6th Man in the NBA.

If they could get OJ i would

If they could get OJ i would do it but i think addressing the PF position is more important. I think OJ would be amazing with wall and lebron driving and kicking. They would need a PF like Yi that can hit the three, maybe look into trading for another lotto pick to take donatus monijunas.

Playing alongside Terrence

Playing alongside Terrence Williams would benefit Lebron so much, Williams is a potential lockdown defender, so Lebron can conserve energy to do more damage on offense.

Wall
Williams
James

Each 3 guys (Wall, Williams, James) has the capability to be an All NBA Defensive player, with Lopez cleaning the boards and blocking shots. I cant believe Im saying this, but the Nets would be a scary team with Lebron.

let me get this out there, if

let me get this out there, if lebron leaves cleavland, i kinda doubt its gonna be about who has the best team. Chicago with rose and noah, NY with another top free agent, NJ with harris, lopez and lotto pick, all of those teams have talent that can easily build a contender around lebron if he goes there.

Lebrons decision is gonna come down to what city he wants to play in and if there is a certain player he wants to play with. If he and bosh or amare decide to play together in NY, that could influence him.

If they get LBJ they should

If they get LBJ they should trade Harris for a reasonable 4. Not Yi

I had considered this, but

I had considered this, but thought that the Harris trade could add on spare parts like Yi and Dooling in order to do a sign and trade for Bosh or Joe Johnson + a spare part...therefore (assuming a lottery win), the future would be Wall, LBJ, Bosh/JJ...with Lopez and Williams as complimentary players...seemed like the best situation to me, or at least equal to the Chicago one that would score a Rose, LBJ, Bosh type of scenario...

i think yi is underrated. He is a knockdown shooter and is still developing his overall game.

If they win the lottery they

If they win the lottery they should trade harris for pick(s)m this would give them enough room for 2 max players...but there is only a 25% chance they win it, so I think we should hold on calling Wall a net for now...

Who remembers all the Griffin/Kings threads last year...?

Well even if they don't end

Well even if they don't end up with John Wall, a Front court of Lopez and Demarcus Cousins wouldn't be a bad consolation price. Its such a luxury for Kobe to have both Gasol and Bynum, and it would do the same for Lebron if he has Cousins and Lopez to dump the ball to, to take pressure off. And you would still have Devin Harris as the PG and he's still better than Mo Williams.

PG Devin Harris
SG Terrence Williams
SF Lebron James
PF Demarcus Cousins/Yi Jianlian
C Brook Lopez

Still a pretty good squad regardless if they end up with Wall or Cousins.

LBJ Newark No Way

If the arena in Brooklyn was up maybe the Nets would have a shot. Newark for two seasons and the youth of the Nets is a hard sell for a guy that declares that winning is important. Chicago has a better young nucleas and better trade chips.

I think New Jersey and

I think New Jersey and Cleveland are the best fits Lebron as well. New Jersey has a team that looks good for the future, and Lebron would immediately make them a borderline contender just as he's done in Cleveland.

lebron to jersey

I agree that new jersey makes sense for lebron but it makes no sense for jersey to draft john wall when harris is a top five pg and he is proven now if i was the gm i would take evan turner and pair him with harris in the backcourt and with bron bron on the wing that would be a fastbreak nightmare!!!! jersey would go from ashy to classy real quick also demarcus cousins is a great
option as well

What makes SENSE

Is lebron going to chicago. Back to back playoff contender with a crappy coach and a bunch of young players who lost their top scorers from last year yet made the playoffs again. Derrick rose is better then every free agent out there aside from lebron and wade, and we all know wade is king in miami and isnt going anywhere.

PG: Derrick rose
SG: Lebron
SF: Deng
Pf: Gibson
C: Noah

That looks like a championship team right there considering all the players are going to get better with experience and playing with the mvp. Hopefully jordans legacy there prevents the smart move and he just goes to the knicks or Nets either way NY wins.

PS. Harris just lead his team to one of the worst records in nba history so please stop pretending he is anything more then an exciting player with no future. hes not top 10 in the league

Yes but No

I agree with you the NJ is a logical choice but not just for basketball reasons. For one lebron is boys with jay z and i cant help but believe that he will influence Mr. James at least a little bit if he decides to go with the Nets. Also, everyone talks about the big market NY has to offer but what about the Nets moving to Brooklyn? So from just about every single aspect it seems to make sense for Lebron to go to New Jersey and become a Net but still deep down inside I believe Lebrons going to stay in Cleveland and try to stick it out. Who knows though I guess we shall see this summer.

Yeah, I've been saying this a

Yeah, I've been saying this a lot. LBJ could put NJ over the top more so than he could any other team that will be eligible to pay for him this offseason. Lopez will be an all-star center in the near future. Even if they don't get Wall, they still can get a good prospect PF in D. Cousins or Favors. Favors would probably work better along LBJ and Lopez because he is more athletic than cousins but cousins has better offensive potential imo. They could trade Harris if they get Wall. Many possibilities indeed...
