cuseflynn10ParticipantWhere do you expect them to finish this year after acquiring Murphy and Farmar and drafting Favors and James. It’s interesting because if they get a top 5 pick or even top 10 and the possibility of Carmelo they could easily compete with Miami. A lineup of either Selby/Irving/Knight/Harrow at PG with Harris Carmelo Lopez and either Murphy/Favors at PF is stacked. Plus their depth has improved. Farmar, Williams, Murphy, Outlaw, and the 2011 2nd rounder coming off the bench is pretty good.
So do you think a New Jersey team with Carmelo or a New York team with Carmelo is better?

gainsey15ParticipantI see them finishing better then last season but still a year or 2 from making a playoff run (unless they make even more moves)

The same Wade that hasn’t advanced past the 1st round since he won a title? I mean, Melo is a franchise guy but like every franchise needs, you need help. I think seeing Melo winning a couple series in Denver made me believe he’s a legit Franchise guy.

SubZeroParticipantI think they should start Harris and T-Will at 1 and 2, instead of going for another PG in the 2011 draft and having a 6′ 3″ SG. Or if they did draft Irving, they could use Harris as trade bait

MagikKnickParticipantImagine if they got Wall, Wall & T-Will would be an amazing backcourt in about 3 years..
But anyways…
I think they’ll be a better team, but not dramatically. They’ll still be a bottom 5 team.

lol, I saw that too. Ryan Harrow is good but he’s not top 10 good. Hell, he’s not a one and done player.
