bkb77ParticipantHeres a different deal that I think could work well for all teams involved
LAL=D-12(18.5m),Iggy(14.5m),jj reddick(6.5m)
ORL=Pau Gasol(19m),Evan Turner(5.3m)
PHI=Bynum(14m),Artest(7.5m)
Lakers- LA gets their guy in Dwight,add an all star wing & top Defender in Iggy, they also take on JJ for 1yr he would also add some 3pt shooting & O off the bench. A BIG4 of Nash,Kobe,Iggy,Dwight will be hard to beat and could contend with MIA/OKC. Will Dwight sign an extension ? who knows but get him in LA for the year with the lakers winner I don’t see him leaving.
Magic- they make the best of a bad situation. They get the 2nd pick from 10 in ET who could be a Penny Hardaway type for them, with Pau whos an all star C & could get them more assets later this year if they wish to trade him & they get rid of JJ’s contract .
Sixers- Get their guy in Bynum. Hes the Star player that they need & Doug Collins will build the O around him & make him The Guy. They take Arest contract & have him replace iggy at SF.

F_DA_POParticipantI’ve been checking out this board every few days for the past year, and I don’t think there’s been a day without a d12 trade idea.
Make it stop…..

bkb77Participantwhats ridculous? who’s the loser in the trade?
pau/et > brook lopez/marshaun imo (hell ORL could deal Pau to Nets for lopez /marshaun in dec.My Sixers get bynum & get rid of iggy.0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/11/2012 - 10:46am #694671
ChewyParticipantReally? He is a boarder line All Star and is one of the best perimeter defenders in the league. Just because the 76ers are shopping him to see what they can get doesn’t mean they have to "get rid of him."

bkb77Participantiggy is all of those thing and a very good player but hes got a big contract needs to have the ball in his hands & is stunting ET’s growth. Hes a complementary piece/ an elite role player but not the guy on a team. Its in The teams best interest long term & iggys interest now to part ways. give him a shot to play on a contender while hes still in his prime.

ChewyParticipantTurner and Iggy can’t co-exist. One of them has to go and I think the 76ers have already decided that it’s Iggy. The problem is that they just lost their leading scorer in free agency, Mo Harkless has potential but isn’t NBA ready, and they just amnestied their best low post scorer.
All of the above would put huge pressure on Turner if Iggy is moved now. I think they could hold off on an Iggy trade for one more year. This will give them 12 more months to look for the best possible return on Iggy.

fcb206Participantdidnt anyone else notice that Pau Gasol is getting washed up? his trade value is a fraction of what it was a year ago. hes almost 32, his numbers are way down and hes owed a truckload of money.
