Nets vs Bulls

So tonight the only game on the slate is Nets vs Bulls. Nice to have the nation checking in on a Game 7 in Brooklyn's first year. I'm going to the game and am expecting it to be pretty intense. With Deng out (does anyone know why he had that Spinal Tap?) and Heinrich unlikely to play, I'm really liking the Nets chances at home. I'm hoping Boozer finally has a bad shooting night. You figure he has to be due for one eventually.

As a Knicks fan I hate seeing

As a Knicks fan I hate seeing Brooklyn win (had to be honest) but with all the injuries to the bulls they do have the upper hand. But one thing we all know is that coach tibs will have his guys ready to play and they always give great effort and defend really well and it's a win or go home so even though Nets have the better chance of winning being at home and the bulls even more injured then before I would never count out the bulls.

I wouldn't count out the

I wouldn't count out the Bulls but:

No Deng tonight

Banged up Noah

No Hinrich(Possibly)

Banged up Taj Gibson

Flu Symptoms going around the team(Nate Robinson throwing up)

If the Bulls can pull this out I'd be suprised. They are a tough group but it seems as if the wheels may stop here.

Damn! I'm feeling for Luol

Damn! I'm feeling for Luol Deng right now. Complications from spinal taps are no joke. I'm assuming he must have some sort of infection or something. Man... I hate to hear that.

The Nets should win this game due to all of the injuries to the Bulls.

As much as I want Chicago to

As much as I want Chicago to win, Brooklyn will take it and give more of a challenge to Miami than a depleted Bulls squad.

That's all this series really matters to me, who can give a bigger challenge to the Heat. Would take the Bulls though if they were something remotely close to healthy.

Nets would definitely give

Nets would definitely give Heat more problems. nets attack through pg and center. And best defenders on Nets are at SF and PF. nets are nicely built to play heat. Of course not good enough, but still better matchups.

Only problem with having

Only problem with having Wallace and Evans on the floor is that nobody has to guard them and that will allow the heat to just focus more on deron and brook. Plus the heat owned them pretty much everytime they played this year. But Lopez will be a problem cuz they have nobody with the size the cover him. Hopefully for the Nets he is aggressive on the offensive boards which is where I think he can do some major damage. I do understand the Evans is usually the one doing that but due to his offensive game I doubt he will play much

Bulls

Bulls are up by 15... Let's go Thibs!

I used to question whether Luol Deng even has a heart to play but knowing him for the last 3 seasons playing with an injured wrist, I never doubted him again... So to miss these crucial games tells me that he is really in pain right now... They are suspecting it to be meningitis...

Well, Bulls made it through,

Well, Bulls made it through, does anyone think this will motivate Rose to get off his ass and suit up after seeing them battle through this first round series as banged up as you could possibly be?

I love the heart by the Bulls

I love the heart by the Bulls and all but the Nets shouldn't be allowed in the playoffs again after losing this series. If I was a Nets fan I would be disgusted by this team, like seriously what a disgrace.

God, I was hoping he would

God, I was hoping he would come back and take the ball out of Noah's hands. Noah was just a beast tonight.

Well the Nets players had playoff experience, but now the Nets team has playoff experience. There is a difference and it is part of the process to develop as a team.

There's no leadership on this

There's no leadership on this Nets team, that's the problem. Joe Johnson thinks a few All-Star games makes him a superstar, but he never delivers in the playoffs, Williams is an egotistical coach-killer who doesn't exactly inspire confidence in his team-mates (e.g. hurling a ball at Hayward after he failed to make a cut) and the coach hasn't been there long enough to inspire anybody (and has a dubious track record regardless).

This team is mentally soft.

Joe Johnson played like

Joe Johnson played like &$#%#&@! and Lopez was so soft. Blatche, Williams and Wallace only Nets to show up.

......................

Advancing to the semis is just what the Bulls need.. I'll say this... THEY WON'T WIN the series against Miami but I GUARANTEE they're going to put up a fight...

Brooklyn plays with no

Brooklyn plays with no purpose just like what barkley said... they didn't deserve to win the series... and they can take their stupid "broooklyn" chant and do sumthing with it
