avavalisParticipantreally? are teams searching lawyers or politicians? as far as he has these traits
" Generally shows a high basketball IQ and has a lot of the traits of a former player’s son (his dad, Rolando Lamb, was an NBA draft pick) … Reportedly has a strong work ethic, which will be needed for him to reach his potential …"
i think teams shouldn’t be concerned

Andrew1984ParticipantThe past couple weeks, Terrence Ross has been rising up draft boards, whereas Jeremy Lamb hasn’t. Ross has deep range, both off the catch and off the dribble, is very strong, and plays with explosiveness. He’s humble, bright, and just seems like a really hard worker. Ross seems better suited to play the 3 as well as the 2, whereas Lamb is a straight-up 2.
Lamb has had some horrible interviews and hasn’t blown anyone away with his work ethic. Once thought to be a top 10 pick, Lamb is likelier to go in the 11-16 range, whereas Ross had been considered a middle-of-the-first prospect, and is now closing in on the top 10.

MJBrownParticipantRoss is a much better shooter than Lamb. I think Ross’ overall potential is starting to shine through. I would definintely take him over Lamb.

avavalisParticipantJeremy Lamb had a better TS% ,had a better FTA per possesion was a slightly better passer per 40 min (p.adj.) and had less turnovers per 40 min (p.adj). Terrence Ross was by far the better rebounder and both had similar steals numbers.
In the combine Ross measured with a not-so-impressive 6’7" wingspan but he made up gor it with a 6’7" height…in alla other measurements lamb was slightly better except the bench pressing where he posted 5 to Ross’s 2 (Ross has …,is very strong ????) and in lane agility where he was almost 1 second faster than ross (ross more explosive???)
In conclusion .. Lamb was the more efficient scorer and player, had better measurements and his disadvantages of creating for himself or going to the ft line were more obvious in ross but still Terrence will be drafted ahead of him?

Andrew1984ParticipantIt just seems like Ross plays stronger and looks thicker in games. There is no bench press on the basketball court.

avavalisParticipantwell that’s a different story..playing harder and tougher requires a good mentality …i am sure everyone was alright with lamb’s mentality in last year’s championship run …but in this years toxic UConn environment EVERYONE in this team looked bad, passive and uninterested…my opinion is that Jeremy Lamb will be head and shoulders ahead the better player if drafted by any team other than the bobcats and the kings and both are unlikely to draft him

Wahoo757ParticipantIf Ross went first out of the shooting guards I’d look pretty smart. After his NIT Tournament I was sold on him completely and I thought he’d be the top shooting guard in the class even though he was being mocked in the 20s. I’m glad Ross is finally getting the respect he deserves. He’s a good shooter, a good athlete, a playmaking defender, and he showed signs at the end of the season that he could create off the dribble.

TRC1991ParticipantRoss is clutch and had some insane performances this year… he’s a much better shooter and has a higher motor

Wahoo757ParticipantI had a brain fart in my last post. Brad Beal is obviously going first among the shooting guard, but Ross should still feel good about himself if he goes top 10.
