lalailaParticipantOK now he is senior he is one of upcoming events star one of incoming freshmen and the guy we wll talk A LOT where he will go in the draft next year..
to begin with my main question is why is the world he is listed center..he is listed 6’11 200 he might be around 210-215 now but still this is Anthony Davis range and like Anthony he has really nice frame to gain up to 240’s or something in three years it’s an OK for pf and below average for the center.. 6’11 7’3 wings would be ideal for PF his quickness and overall probably better athleticism than Davis’ would make his mismatch nightmare for shorter or slower guys..
and yes he might doesn’t have the touch and jumpshot of an elite pf but he already shows promises in the most with his jump hooks he can handle a little and he has some really nice court vision..
so what do you guys think?

Maniac MaciejParticipantHe’s 6’11 with the hair, but only 6’3 without it.

Anton123ParticipantMaybe he is still expected to grow to be 7ft. Still, even if he doesn’t but adds A LOT of weight he will have very good size for a centre.
But if he statys in the 200-230 range there’s no way he can be a centre in the NBA.

MalcolmxParticipantI agree probably just a tall PF but lets not leave how how ahead he is on the Defensive end

mmichnowicz1ParticipantI have actually played against him in highschool. I play for a very good highschool team. My team started the year ranked in the top 50 and we played Tilton. He is so good. His timing is incredible, he jumps quickly enough that he can wait for someone to be in the air or realsce their shot before he jumps to block it. He rebounds well.
On the offensive end, he can not shoot, but he can handle the ball a little bit, and pass well. I think he will develop a post game, and will begin to work on the offensive side of the game. He really can not shoot, we gave him a jump shoot everytime and he was smart enough not to take it.

Ghost01ParticipantI think all you need to know about his skill is he reclassified to a higher grade and still was placed at No.1. This guy is a flat out beast defensively, and will be a terror next season in college. Quit saying "Anthony Davis clown" they may have similar traits, but they are nothing close to clones.

HitsterParticipantThat hairstyle looks like something out an early 1990’s MTV presenter would have!
Seriously his lack of bulk does make me question what his best NBA role might be and I’ve raised this in previous posts but the guy does have great athleticism and could could maybe play 5 on a smallball team or alongside a strong more squat type of PF like Paul Millsap for example.
Also more tellingly Nerlens is still only 17 years old and will be one of the younger guys in his draft year so even if he may only be 17 months or so away from being drafted, he will still have time to fill out in due course so his lack of bulk for me is not such a concern as it once was although his best NBA position is still open for debate. But again for a possibly still growing 17 year old this is nothing unexpected.

iguapops420ParticipantReminds me of Marcus Camby. Right down to the guard skills and build.

Johnny ChillIs Nerlens Noel Player X, the player who had a article about getting hooked up with coeds on his recruiting trips?

basedswagpurpParticipantNerlens is extremely athletic and is one of the best shot blockers to ever come out of high school. Definitely up to par with Davis defensively. But I also think he could become a good offensive player. Hes a good dunker and has a nice touch around the rim. Can guard forwards and centers. I saw him absolutely abuse Isiah Austin in a game in the summer. Definitely great on D and reminds me of Josh Smith on offense without that supposed "shooter touch".
