Nerlens Noel & The Kings

Was XXXX and thinking of how Noel would fix with Cousins...They...actually seem okay.

Offensively: Cousins will have more reasons to take on double teams (underneath the basket) due to Noel's ability to putback missed shots, which actually is creating offence for Noel to come into play on offence, and if done on a frequent basis with purpose, it may be one of those 'if Cousins misses Noels got the putback' set plays.

Through time, with Cousins frequent demand for double teams, his passing ability allow passes to Noel for wide open set jumpers around the key. Noel should be able to develop a consistent J to use around the key.

Defensively: Cousins will no need to over commit hence less chance of getting faked into silly fouls. It would also help develop a good habit for Cousins in remembering one of the benefit for not leaving your feet on defense. The above mentioned due to Noel's help defense ability. Image a matured Cousins taking bodyshots down low and Noel coming over for the weak side block for the win!

This consequently lessen Cousins' chances of silly or unnecessary fouls in crucial situations, he then can focus more on the lower body and attempt to improve his defensive footwork underneath the bucket and hopefully eventually realizes that with his gifted size and width, he can become a major force defensively in the NBA for years to come.

Last but not lesat, considered a MUST for the duo. Veteran leadership.

I'm not familiar with the leadership groups among the NBA, could some insider help me name veterans that would fit a role to help the development of Cousins and Noel? Thanks

Trade for #2 if Noel doesnt go #1

Trade Patterson, Jimmer, Thomas, #7 and #36

for

Nelson and #2

The magic get more young players and move a big vet contract. Further setting themself up for the 2014 draft.

The kings add a leader to help right the ship in Nelson and a defensive presence in Noel.
