Lotto StudParticipantThis killed me to the core because he just jeopardized a legitimate chance for a run at the title. I’m disgusted in him to be a veteran.

Rip255He got ejected and I expect a 1 game suspension. They can still win this game, in which case I don’t think you have too much to worry about.
If they lose this game…start panicking
I think Larry Bird has invaded Mike Dunleavys body.

mcbaileyParticipantIs it just me, or was it not nearly as egregious as everyone is making it out to be? What Nene did barely even qualifies as a headbutt. Under different circumstances, I’d have probably assumed they were about to kiss.

Rip255Yeah it wasn’t a real fight, but Nene had to get ejected since he created an ugly situation. Butting heads like that is soft, but is a bad look for the league nonetheless.
I think it’s borderline whether he gets a 1 game suspension or not. The ejection might be penalty enough.

Rip255Was just hypping up Butler and Chicago’s chances of winning the series after Ariza missed.
And then Wall with the steal. And Washington get another chance!

Rip255Which was a bigger bonehead play?
Snell with a shooting foul on Wall from 65 feet when they’re up 5 points with 6 seconds to go.
Washington somehow getting another chance to tie after a missed Taj Gibson ft, and throwing it sideways out-of-bounds when they had 2.5 seconds to go the length of the court.

Lotto StudParticipantSame way the Lakers or Celtics have a legitimate chance of obtaining a Top 3 pick.

Magic JordanParticipantCombined Lakers and Celtics have about a coin flip at a top 3 pick. The wizards are nowhere close to a coin flip for a championship Lol.

llperezi douibt nene gets suspended. He deserved the ejection, but no strikes thrown i doubt they suspend him. And i wouldnt count the wiz completely out of a title shot, the east has one strong team in the heat they are not as strong as years past and the west is all up in the air. But yeah, the wiz have as a good a chance as about a dozen other teams, slim.

Lotto StudParticipantDon’t worry! As long as you are in favor of the Hawks over the Pacers, you are redeeming yourself because all in all I consider that a sweep.

chaParticipantI don’t know what he was thinking. He basically gave the momentum to Chicago. The Bulls does an amazing job of containing Wall’s penetration; you can tell they scouted him well enough because their defense is built on stopping dribble penetration. When the series first started, all I could think of was how will the Bulls defend Nene? He was out for the majority of the season and the no one really expected this from him, they were caught off guard when he played game 1. His mixture of mid range game, physical force, rebounding and the ability to put the ball on the floor even against the DPOY, Noah, makes life a living nightmare. Nene being out for game 4 will completely change the complexion of this series. Witman and rest of the team needs to replace his productivity and presence the next game. If they can do that, I have the Wizards in 5 if not then I see the Bulls tying the series at 2 games a piece and going the distance.

Scott42444ParticipantYeah, but the Bulls are still in some trouble. Big time Bulls fan here but their offense is just pathetic and they look tired out there on defense. Nene being out helps, but the Bulls NEED OFFENSE in the offseason. Thibs is a great coach, known for his defensive genius. Well, how about he takes some talented offensive players and fits a defensive scheme around them instead of taking guys like Butler (who I really like, especially for the 30th pick) who are athletic, defensive minded players and hope they learn to score. Like I said, I like Jimmy Butler, but look at Wall and Beal. Those are legitimate scoring threats who can score at will sometimes (and haven’t even sniffed their prime yet, which is scary). Rose won’t be enough. I know the Bulls are going to make a serious run at Carmelo Anthony. He is Plan A. I think they have a decent shot at getting him (Houston would be a terrible fit, no matter what anyone says, since they don’t have issues scoring the basketball they just can’t guard anyone). But if they do NOT get Melo, they need to find a way to bring in some offense. Maybe they draft offense first guys for once. Not that Snell wasn’t an offense first guy, but guys like maybe TJ Warren who create shots for themselves. Even if (gasp) the Bulls have to trade UP to get a guy, they CANNOT have Mike Dunleavy play out of his mind more than a couple times in his life.
