This is a perfect opportunity for NC to show how good they are against the number one team in the country, and they are looking for this opportunity.
Lorenzo brown has been on a tear lately 17 points on 56fg%, 9 assist & 4 rebounds with 1.6 blocks/ steals in the last 3 games.

this was only an upset because of their rankings...Duke as usual is overachieving, they have really had a great season and some great wins...but NC State is positionally bigger on the wings and at PG, has solid defense, and a better team athletically....to boot they run a very efficient offense, leading the nation in FG% and they turn the ball over very little. Howell is a man amongst boys. Calvin is ultra talented. Brown can create offense and is a very high IQ player. Purvis is a demon in the open court, Wood is a marksman, and Warren who is shooting nearly 70% from the field is a top candidate for ACC ROY.

Neutral site with Ryan Kelly

Neutral site with Ryan Kelly in the starting lineup, I'm pretty sure the outcome would've been different. Good win, but I'm not convinced. Mark Gottfried doesn't impress me as a coach and neither does the collective bball IQ of the NC St roster.
