Brandon Rush is too good of a shooter to be mediocre/average Joe. He's 7th in 3 point shooting % at 44.8%. I nominate Jodie Meeks, he's my ideal mediocre player, jack of all trades in the sense he's below average/average at just about everything.

I always thought that AJ Price for the Pacers was a mediocre NBA player all-around. This is a funny topic tho

Mike Dunleavy

He's been in the league 9+ years now. Not great, not horrible. Been injured. Streaky shooter. High IQ. Will be in the league another 5-7 years.

Was a real good one. Meeks is just as good as a shooter as Rush, if not better so I don't get your point.

Rush is too good of a perimeter defender too, he's probably in the top quarter of swingmen from a defensive standpoint.

Same article posted elsewhere, a poster said this:

" 1. James Harden .654

2. Steve Nash .631
3. Mike Dunleavy, Jr. .615
4. Kevin Durant .612
5. Brandon Rush .609
6. Ray Allen .608
7. LeBron James .606
8. Chris Paul .580
9. Arron Afflalo .578
10. Jared Dudley .577

Throw in 5.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.2 blocks per 36 for good measure, with only 1.4 turnovers and 1.4 personal fouls.

This article might have made sense last season; this year it just bespeaks ignorance. I guess we’ll see next year how much of an aberration this year was, but for now it seems silly to call him anything less than “good.”"

I know he's no where near as good as the others on that list except Dudley and Dunleavy (he's better then them) and TS often rises and falls becuase of USG% and Rush doesn't even crack 16% USG . But its still very good for the role he plays

Marvin has to be

he is in fact a wasted 2 pick, mediocre player and a high bust factor for being taken at 2nd (not his fault) before paul and williams.

i liked earl watson at ucla,

i liked earl watson at ucla, he was solid all around and a good decision maker who could defend, shoot okay but not great, pass all right but not great, drive a little but not super quick. Thought he had a chance to stick around when seattle drafted him in the second round. And 11 seasons later and he here is still in the league churning out 21 minutes a game for the jazz doing nothing spectacular whatsover but just play solid mediocre ball.
