Pelicans win- I think Dikembe can bother KAJ just enough to give Oscar the bigger edge in the PG battle than the C battle. I also think Aldridge is slightly better than Wallace.

Warriors win- Kobe is best player on the court. Rose and Harden both need the ball to be good. George and Davis can play off of Prime Kobe as 2nd fiddles pretty well.

Kings win- The Wolves had Magic and so much more athelticism, but the Kings have better skilled players at 2-5 spots.

Clippers win- in a blow out. MJ shooting and Artest and Mourning defending. Plus MJ is no slouch on D either.

     Game 1: Grizzlies vs Pelicans

Michael Cooper definitely switches on Oscar. Probably a lot of pick and pop jumpers for Aldridge with 1971 Kareem defending the rim on one side, while Carmelo would abuse English on the block (50 lb advantage) while Rasheed spaces the floor. Slight edge to the Pelicans.

    Game 2: Mavs vs Warriors

Scottie definitely switches on to Kobe, and PG probably switches on to Harden so Kobe could preserve his energy. Yao Ming is basically Mikan but 8 inches taller, have to imagine the Warriors dominate the glass while having better floor spacing. Advantage: Warriors.

    Game 3: Kings vs Wolves

Grant Hill switches on to Magic, Rondo "hides" on Iggy. Neither of these teams can shoot, Kings win an ugly one as the Wolves struggle to finish at the rim against Duncan and Boogie and Magic can’t start the break with his teams’ struggles on the defensive glass.

    Game 4: Clips vs Nugs

Artest switches on to T-Mac to save MJ some energy (MJ was a great defender but Pippen usually took the opponents’ primary wing threat so MJ could play the passing lanes). Clippers roast Nuggets as Stephon Marbury is forced in to a bunch of turnovers and no one can finish at the rim against Zo and Reed.

Grizzlies over Pelicans: They can thrown Cooper on Oscar, and it doesn’t cause a huge mismatch with Archibald on Monroe. I don’t think Mutombo will slow Kareem down too much. Aldridge will have a tough time going against both Rasheed and Kareem as Mutombo is pretty much nothing on offense. But what really wins the game, is Carmelo against English. English is too small to handle Carmelo.

Warriors over Mavericks: Very tough match up. But I think the Warriors pull it out as they compete a bit more on the defensive side. Their weak point is Billups, but he is just there to defend Rose/Harden. Yao is too big too handle, and Brow can match Griffin’s athleticism. Pippen over George, but Bryant over Harden.

Kings over Wolves: The duo of Cousins and Duncan will be too much and too big for McAdoo and Kemp. Rondo can at least pester Magic. Hill verse Carter would be a good matchup, Hill brings a bit more defensively though. I’ll take Allen’s shooting over Iggy, as he will just be a role player on this team.

Clippers over Nuggets: Wilkes on Jordan and Artest on McGrady. Give it to MJ. You got Russell guarding the hoop, but Reed and Mourning will be there for dump offs and rebounds.

Grizzlies" Having Cooper to guard Oscar is huge,

    Warriors: not even close.

Wolves: Cousins and Duncan will have a harder time keeping up in the full court, then kemp and mcadoo will in the half court.

    Clippers: blow out.

I think people see Kemp and McAdoo and assume this is a bad rebounding team, because netoher of these guys are centers, or taller then 6 foot 10.  But Magic aceraged 7 rpg, which is amazing for a point guard, and caretr and igoudala averaged close to 6 per game; all very good defensive revounders for their positions. This more then makles up for mcaddo and kemp averaging 17 together. Yes, with rondo they are better, but this is n;t a horribly small team with Magic.
