I am an idiotParticipantHawks – got to love the Round Mound of Rebound!
Thunder – Curry, Curry and more Curry
Wizards – Old school Cousy to Chamberlain
Pacers – Hard to argue against the logo. I assume that Walton’s feet still work. When healthy, he was as good as they come
Hornets – Maybe I love the big men too much, but who on this team could handle Shaq?
Cavs – I must be Dreaming

ChewyParticipantKnicks win
Bulls win- banking on Prime Dirk here
Wiz win
Nets win- Drazen was taken before his time, but I still give the edge to LBJ
Hornets- A Prime Pierce next to a Prime Shaq fits. Neither wants to run and gun and both can kill you in the half court.
Cavs win- Can you put Dennis on Hakeem here? Did Dennis ever really guard Hakeem IRL? My memory isn;t that great.

sweaterflexParticipantGame 1: Slight advantage to the Knicks, who have better passing and more size.
Game 2: Great matchup, the Thunder have more shooting, the Bulls have better interior defense, slight nod to the Thunder.
Game 3: The Magic have the ideal lineup to face a team whose only real option is Wilt. Frazier would roast Cousy on the other end.
Game 4: Nets over Pacers.
Game 5: Hornets over Blazers, too much Shaq.
Game 6: Suns over Cavs

dmo21ParticipantHawks over Knicks: The big men are pretty much a wash. Hell of a rebounding matchup between Malone and Barkley. I think have Moncrief and Wilkins on the wing will be too over whelming when Mullin has to guard one of them.
Thunder over Bulls: Tough one (literally changed my mind as I was writing this) as I think Curry and Klay will do good against Nash and Majerle. However, I see Dandridge, Nowitzki and Howard having the upper hand when it comes to big men. I think the shooting of OKC and they lack of perimeter defending for the Bulls makes the difference.
Wizards over Magic: It’s hard to go against Wilt. Would have been a tougher matchup with Frazier on Orlando, but having two ball handlers (Cousy and Dumars) will negate some of Frazier’s defensive presence. Garnett is having a tough day down low on offense against Grant and Wilt and no help (Big Ben). Big Ben will struggle against that much size.
Nets over Pacers: The King still reigns! Don’t think Cunningham can pick up Lebron. Green should out hustle Webber and give him troubles with his defensive ability. Jones can guard West to limit him.
Hornets over Blazers: It was pretty much deciding who will do more damage, Durant against Schmidt or Shaw against Daugherty. I think Pierce would switch on to Durant, which would make it a little better. Daugherty and Bosh don’t have the size and shot blocking to o anything to stop him.
Cavaliers over Suns: Both of these teams are great. Would be a hell of a game. But I think it just comes down to stopping Hakeem, and I don’t think they are up to it. Suns put on a lot of pressure with Paul/Houston/Baylor, but Wall/Sprewell/Leonard don’t back down on defense and don’t have to focus on offense (see, Hakeem). If the Suns had a big, offensive PF going against Debusschere, then maybe it would swing the other way.
