Day 3 is here… Today is the loser’s bracket day. It’s win or go home for these teams now. So… here are the matchups!
Jazz vs Knicks: Not Stockton and Malone…. Stockton vs Malone.
Jazz :John Stockton, Mitch Richmond, Marques Johnson, Kevin McHale, Jermaine O’neal
Knicks: Pete Maravich, Chris Mullin, Jimmy Butler, Karl Malone, Marc Gasol

Celtics vs Bulls
Celtics: Dennis Johnson, Dwayne Wade, Joe Johnson, Bob Pettit, Wes Unseld
Bulls: Steve Nash, Bob Dandridge, Dan Majerle, Dirk Nowitzki, Dwight Howard

Knicks over Jazz: Close one, but Malone and Marc win over McHale and Jermaine. Lot of offense on the perimeter as well.
Bulls over Celtics: Howard is the game changer here. Much bigger and athletic than Pettit and Unseld. Wade will be able to get to the hoop, but then there is Howard.
Magic over Sixers: Having KG and Big Ben guarding the room and Frazier guarding him will deter the effectiveness of AI. Gasol and Towns can both spread the floor, but KG and Ben are quick enough to cover both of them.
Pacers over Rockets: Figuring Walton can slow down Moses a bit while Webber can take him out of the paint a bit. Plus West will have his way against Parker. Gervin having a big game could switch the outcome.
Pistons over Blazers: I think the overall defense of Detroit will pull them out on top. Portland has more shooting, but Detroit has the athleticism. Even though Cowens is a bit smaller, he can pester Bosh who will be sitting at the perimeter. Erving and Nance can block a bunch of shots.
Raptors over Spurs: Toronto is just too good and too big all around. Havlicek will not be able to handle Bird. Sabonis may create havoc as he can spread the floor a bit, but Thurmond is a beast down low.
Heat over Suns: Don’t really know how that Lucas/Rodman matchup would go. The athleticism of 1-3 for the Heat push them over though.
