HayatoKanzaki1ParticipantOk I’ve done some mock drafts with comments. Can you give me some feedback on them and what you think? I’ve done the first 8 players and I’ll do more as time goes along.

trelos6ParticipantInteresting to see Knicks to for Porzingis. He’s a sweet shooter, but I thought the triangle needed a good passing, low post big man. Okafor would be perfect if he was to drop.

OhCanada-ParticipantToronto and Ujiri stated last year they would rather go for longterm potential over immediate production. With Caboclo, Daniels and Noguiera one year into their development they will likely try to go for another "high upside" guy like Looney before picking a ready contributor like Harrell.
Although I must say Harrell has the grit and energy Toronto needs now. Casey also needs shooters for spacing.
Also with so many frontcourt prospects developing they may want to bring in a true gaurd to even out the depth chart and allow players to grow into synchronized roles.
Toronto has 3 scheduled workouts for Wed 3rd, Wed 10th and I think Sat 13th. I believe they have RHJ and Anderson coming in for workouts on Wednesday. Wouldn’t mind seeing them bring in Grant, Payne, Rozier, Wright, Hanlan and Jones for a gaurd oriented workout and then do a big man one with Portis, Harrell, Wood who should specifically be invited.

r377ParticipantRHJ is a poor mans James Johnson. They need to get rid of busT-Ross and get a decent 3 point shooter to go with Derozen at SG/SF or a PF if they let Amir Johnson go. I doubt Portis will be there at 20 but Anderson and Vaughn could be….

Bed HeadParticipantAs I’ve mentioned previously, Americans often underestimate the severity of "culture shock" that "foreigners" face in a city this size. Personally speaking, I know how badly I struggled to adjust. And I was just in prep school, not the NBA. Also, I was coming from St. Petersburg* (a huge metropolis compared to Liepaja or even Seville). Plus I was already fluent in English. And, in many ways, a "woman of the world". Whereas Porzingis, let’s face it, is a relative rube.
Point is … either Orlando or Sacramento are far more desirable destinations. Not to mention, much better fits roster-wise too.
* The one in Russia, not Florida

sitlbitoParticipantDo you know Porzingis personally? He’s an incredibly smart young guy, speaking three languages fluently.

Bed HeadParticipantFor instance, I have a friend who claims to speak 7 languages (yet, in reality, she sucks in all but one).
BTW, what did you think of Darko’s English? Or his prospects for adjusting to America? Keeping in mind that Milicic had twice the talent (at least) of Porzingis.

sitlbitoParticipantI agree with that point about people claiming they speak multiple languages. But check the documentary on grantland about him and you’ll see that he speaks english fluently.
