Which NBA high schooler that has been drafted is the most underrated to you?

    C.J. Miles
He is a very smooth player that’s a younger Ray Allen (IMO)….His strength is his natural shooting ability, he has a knack for knocking down outside shots. Even the Jazz organization have seen the potential in him. They could have easily let him go, but they matched Oklahoma City’s 4yr $15mil offer.

Miles is a great player and the prize tag on him is CHEAP in my opinion. The most underrated high school player in the NBA to me is Monta Ellis. This guy is unbelievable, you hardly ever hear a peep about this guy. He might be a little personal but the way he attacks the rim and finishes under control is ridiculous.

I wouldn’t say Monta is underrated, remember he got M.I.P one year. He just don’t get brought up in discussion.

I think if he keeps his head together Andray Blatche could be a stud. He was a late 2nd rounder and no one really gave him much hype, but very few guys have the kind of inside/outside game he has. The question with him is the mental aspect and how he embraces a secondary role. His mid range game though is automatic and he has some nice fakes and hook shots down low. He’s also a fairly decent rebounder, shot blocker, and passer. He’s on a modest contract, only has 6.5 mil due to him over the next 2 years.

    Andray Blatche
He was projected to o in the 1st-round of the 2005 NBA Draft but fell all the way to late in the 2nd-round. If the Wizards never traded Jamison and Butler, I don’t think he would’ve ever gotten a chance to shine. Even when he used to come off the bench, I knew that he could become a good player because he showed flashes of becoming and all star.

People underrate what he did last year. You won’t find many players that can give you 22 and 8.5. Those are all star numbers, even though he averaged those numbers after the all star break.

He is a good shooter and has range all the way out to the NBA 3-point line. He has great size for a PF at 6’11” and has a freakish wingspan, which allows to block shots at a good rate. He can also run the floor very well. He is also a very good passer for his size. And he is only 24-years-old, so he still has a lot of potential. He does need to get stronger and improve his defense though, and has shown signs of immaturity. But before he suffered the foot injury during the offseason, he was working his but off. He reportedly suffered the injury while he was training, so that’s a good sign

This season, I want to find out if Blatche is a good NBA starter, or a bad team good stats player? I think the answer is the first option but I think the second is a possibility. He has the potential to become an all star.

I like cj but his jumper isn’t close to Ray Allen. Very talented but wildly inconsistant

also like blachte but I need to see him
put up numbers for longer then just the two months he did it. It’s alot harder when u are playing major min for awhole season while picking up nagging injuries. and taking on players while they are as fresh as you instead of near the end of the season when they are worn down

I think Lou Williams can also be considered as an underrated player coming out of high school… He was delegated to the bench most of the time when AI was still around… He only got noticed once AI got traded and the Sixers have no other choice but to give Lou playing time… It turned out to be good for him…
