I’ve been tracking box scores of teams and certain players throughout the season, and I couldn’t help but notice how much Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, still has confidence issues with his broken shot. In 27 games played out of his team’s 33, he has only attempted a total of 2 shots from beyond the arc, which speaks volumes of how opposing teams can take advantage defensively on his team as whole while he’s on the floor.

Talk about knowing your role! I don’t even believe it’s close as far as any guard or wing player in the NBA to have taken fewer attempts at the 3 while playing over 30+ games.

Someone has brought it to my attention that Simmons has attempted 9 so far.

I think you’ll find they have virtually all been buzzer beater heaves from distance

           Yessir, he attempred 1 trey….+ 8 heaves.

And thanks to basketball reference, he must have attempted 10 shots between 16 ft and the 3pts line, making 5 of them.

A thing i never saw with my eyes, i probably watched 7-8 sixers games, his longest jumpshot was  heels on the FT line.

          14 footers unlimited range.

Few fun facts – Shaq only hit one three pointer out of the 28,596 career points he scored.

Paul Millsap is the smartest player or has the smartest agent as he is 3rd highest paid player in the NBA!

Danny Ainge is supposed to be one of the smartest GMs in the NBA but he made Gordon Hayward the 4th highest paid player in the NBA!

The biggest difference in Basketball IQs this season was measured when CP3 stood next to JaVale McGee.

Play Off points not being combined with regular season points is known as the Melo rule – to make Carmelo Anthony feel better about his continued play off absence.

Great post but don’t sell Danny short…Gordon will probably be the 10th highest paid player next time he takes the court.

I’m a Danny Ainge fan too and it’s how the salaries worked out. Both Hayward and Millsap could have made more money by resigning with their previous teams. Utah I’m sure would have 5 year maxed out Hayward.

Just to see the list of highest paid and after LBJ and Steph to see Hayward and Millsap was a bit of a fall off. Hayward though would have made many more AS games but for West’s crazy depth and Millsap is a 4 time All Star and an excellent defender so good luck to them both.
