NBA Finals Live: Heat vs Thunder Live Score and Highlights Game 1

The NBA Finals match-up between Miami Heat forward LeBron James vs Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant are all set in tonight's Game 1 at Chesapeake Energy Arena. Check this page later for Heat vs Thunder Live Score and Highlights.

The head to head matchup between James vs Durant has been missing in the NBA for quite sometime after the Michael Jordan era. But some analyst believe that X-Factor on this NBA Finals series will be decided between Chrish Bosh and Serge Ibaka. Bosh put up an excellent performance game 7 against Boston shooting three 3-pointers in 8 of 10 shooting, while Ibaka showed his shooting skills going 11 for 11 from the field in Game 4 against San Antonio Spurs.

But the main focus will be on three-time MVP LeBron James and Kevin Durant as the three-time scoring champion. James will try to swat the NBA ring in his third Finals while Durant playing for his first.

The 23-year old Thunder forward said, "Everybody is going to make the most out of the matchup of me versus LeBron, but it's the Thunder versus the Heat,'' Durant said. ''One guy versus another guy, it's not going to be a 1-on-1 matchup to win the series, it's going to be all about the team."

But the pressure is on James who fell short of NBA title last year in his first season with Miami. Lebron James carried the load for the Heat with two final victories in the Eastern Conference finals against the Celtics, with sensational 45-point, 15-rebound Game 6 performance in Boston.

Miami Heat last encounter with Oklahoma Thunder was las April 5 in the regular season when LeBron James had 34 points and 10 assists, Dwyane Wade scored 19 points rallying to beat the Thunder 98-93 victory. Kevin Durant scored 30 points, Westbrook added 28 and James Harden had 12 for the Thunder of the loss. The Miami Heat just only avenged a 103-87 loss at Oklahoma City a week after that ended their head to head this season with a draw.

With all the comparison between the two only one can be considered the best player in the game, and its the guy who who can win the 2012 NBA championsip. Check this page below for live blog on Heat vs Thunder Live Score and highlights.

Bryant scored over 1,600

Bryant scored over 1,600 points in the lockout shortened 2012 campaign. Over 82 games, Bryant would need to average 23.7 points to achieve the milestone this season (25.8 points over 75 games). For reference, Bryant hasn’t averaged less than 24 points per game since 2000.

It’s a sad testament to a player who could have been among the all-time greats based on raw ability. If McGrady had pushed himself and found the determination that, say, Kobe Byrant possesses, there’s little question that he could have been a champion and a Hall of Fame player. Instead, at 33 years old he looks like he might wash out of the league altogether, leaving us to wonder what might have been.

“Kyle is an alpha-dog, he is a leader,” Casey said. “He plays like a pit bull. He is a different type of player than Jose, a different type of point guard and we need that type of toughness, that approach that he brings to the table.”klgjk67667

Do the Clippers have enough

Do the Clippers have enough to win it all? That’s not answerable in October but there’s a lot right on paper and after a little intrasquad scrimmage, it’s evident the Clippers will be very good this season.
