NBA Draft: Trey Burke too small to be a lottery pick?
I really don't think his size will be a problem. He has a great wingspan for the PG position & his IQ at that position is probably tops in the country.
He is my favorite PG in college.
He reminds me of Raymond Felton with his quickness, ball handling, and floor generalship. He's a little bit more explosive and not quite as strong, but I think he's a great prospect.
These knocks on Burke's size are pretty baseless. There are a lot of PGs who are 6 feet. A lot. I would understand the criticism if Burke was a slashing scoring guard, but he's not. Playmaking point guards who have good athletic qualities are always needed. Even if you already have a PG, there's still room for another. (see Knicks current roster).
No way.. If Michigan can stay in the top 20 all year, he will be picked top 10.. This kid is amazing.. Any team without a defined PG for the future (Magic, Hornets, Kings, Pacers, dont get caught up on these teams....) should draft this guy without heistation.. This is a weak year for PGs, and most positions except for the C/PF spot. Burke should end the year, barring a complete collapse, as the best PG in the country..
No.
Heplays bigger than his height with his 6'5 wingspan, natural body strength and elevation on his jumper.
Put a bigger man on him, watch him call for a ball screen and pick your defense apart via PnR.
He's as complete a PG as you'll find in the college game.

there is not 1 mock draft that has trey burke going in the lottery and most of the reasons say its because of hsis size. he is listed at 6'0 190. How is his size and issue? when guys like chris paul. kemba walker, dj augustin, and jonny flynn all went in the top 10 at that similar size. there are a ton of starting point guards who are the same size at bukre.
Will he end up in the lottery by seasons end? Whats his nba potential?
