PrecociousNeophyteParticipantI was thinking about going but thought it would be better on TV if I was going to by cheap tickets and sit far away… let us know how it goes.

Tha King2121ParticipantSince its normally in New York. which is like 3 hours away from me its just a little too far.
Also I dont think its going to be in NJ any other year. So im going to take advantage of it. its only like 2hours away from me. and im going to try to sneak down to the lower levels

parkerjParticipantthere are a ton of fanboys that go for the lotto or first round, then leave…i’m assuming that since you’re posting on this site you’d be in it for the long haul…in that case, you should be able to get right up to the divide between the cheap tix and the more expensive ones (last year Pape Sy and his family were sitting about 3 rows up from where i ended up)
also…i’m not sure what you mean by the "20 dollar cheap tickets"…things might’ve changed with the different venue, but for the last several years the "cheap tickets" were 15 bucks and went on sale the day of the draft…just a heads up in case someone is trying to rip you off…
EDIT: oh…ticketmaster…you should be alright then

MagikKnickParticipantIts a really cool process, something you’ll definetly enjoy..
I went in the year the Knicks drafted Channing Frye, it gets pretty crazy when the "home team" is up…
Im not sure if NJ would be so "alive" but regardless, its just a dope experience0 - Posted on: Wed, 06/15/2011 - 10:47am #545525
Tha King2121ParticipantYea thats what I heard about people leaving after the first round I will most likey stay for the whole thing or leave after my sixers pick..50th pick. your right the tickets are 15 + the 5$ ticketmaster fee

PrecociousNeophyteParticipantYeah good for you man take advantage of the opportunity I think it will be back at MSG next year, but I am not sure. I think I might go next year though I am like an hour and a half away from the Pru Center and MSG.
