If the All-star game was Split into Divisional teams instead of East vs West who would Win? Pick a Division and Assemble a team.

1 rule. You cannot pick 2 starters from the same team. Ex. You can pick Stephen and Klay starting in the backcourt but you can have 1 starting and 1 being a 6th man.

Northwest,Pacific,Southwest,Central,Atlantic and South East. Are All in play

For me I would choose Southwest

    C- Anthony Davis- Pelicans

    PF- Dirk Nowitzki- Mavs

    SF Kahwi Leonard- Spurs

    SG James Harden- Rockets

    PG Mike Conley-Grizzles

6th man Tim Duncan C/PF spurs.

I think this this team would give other teams major match up problems in anyone they play. They maybe get pushed around with a bigger front court but that’s where Tim Duncan comes in at. But make no mistake the frontcourt pairing of AD and Dirk will be to versatile for most and AD maybe a bit underweight as a PF but is no Slouch on the defensive end. And Kahwi Leonard would be the perfect defensive stopper with the ability to score.

For my backcourt I chose 2 leftys. I would probably split the ball handling duties 60/40 in Hardens favor just because how much of a Offensive Juggernaut Harden is.But believe Mike Conley would be the perfect backcourt partner for harden especially on the defensive end.

I was bored, so I did a team for each division and ranked them. Also, instead of 6th man I split it into 1st big and 1st guard off the bench (both being from different teams.

    1) Southwest: Parker, Harden, Parsons, Davis, and Gasol with Conley and Duncan off the bench. Block party while the guards do all the scoring.

    2) Central: MCW, Butler, George, James, and Drummond with Irving and Gasol off the bench. Long and athletic team with excellent ball movement. Could be better if I dropped James to the bench, but I just can’t do that to him.

    3) Pacific: Curry, Bledsoe, Bryant, Griffin, and a Cousins with Paul and Green off the bench. A smaller team that would be all about scoring and not much about defense.

    4) Western: Lillard, Wiggins, Durant, Faried, and Gobert with Westbrook and Aldridge off the bench. Close between them and the Pacific, but they don’t have the experience that the Pacific has.

    5) Southeast: Wall, Oladipo, Korver, Bosh, and Jefferson with Teague and Vucevic off the bench. Tough team to pick. Good operational team with parts that would actually work well together, but lacks in overall talent that other divisions have.

    6) Atlantic: Lowry, Bradley, Anthony, Noel, and Lopez with DeRozan and Olynyk off the bench. This team blows chunks. Quite sad to look at it. That’s all I have to say.

     C- Al Jefferson- Hornets

    PF- Chris Bosh- Heat

    SF- Kyle Korver- Hawks

    SG- Victor Oladipo- Magic

    PG- John Wall- Wizards

    6th Man- Dwyane Wade- Heat

Hardest team to pick due to lack of depth but this is a solid core. This team presents an inside-outside game with Jefferson down low and Bosh and Korver from the outside then the backcourt duo of Oladipo and Wall presents huge problems as well and with Wade coming off the bench(since you cannot pick two guys from the same team in the lineup), you have one of the greats scoring in bunches for this team.

I like it. Definatly one of the hardest divisions to choose from but you still manage to put together a really solid team. Big AL and Bosh could probably hold there own in the paint against anyone. A nice athletic backcourt with Korver spreading the floor.

The Central Division next year will be the toughest Division in the NBA

    Bucks-are a playoff team

Pacers-will regain form and make playoffs

    Cavs-Favorites for title

    Bulls- Favorites of title

Pistons- will improve greatly under Stan Van Gundy
