Hardest to defend?? And whos better??

    Knicks- Melo, Stoudemire, Chandler

    Grizzlies- Gay, Randolph, Gasol

    Thunder- Durant, Ibaka, Perkins

    Clippers- Butler, Griffin, Jordan

    Bulls- Deng, Boozer, Noah

    Pacers- Granger, West, Hibbert

I got the knicks for best front court but the clips front court might b harder to defend thanks to paul, billups, williams in the back court

I’ll take the Grizz frontcourt over the Clips.

3 Solid studs, boarderline All-Stars to 1 exciting All Star player, 1 solid player, 1 young unproven player.

at first i thought u were calling blake "exiting all star player" deandre a "solid player" but then saw the follow up with "young unproven player"… r u serious?

        1. chris paul is way more than "exiting allstar", that would be like monta ellis or something. cp3 best point guard in the league. future hall of famer.
        2. blake griffin allstar ROOKIE year. 12 rebs most dunks… enough said. HALL OF FAMER. BOOK IT
        3. deandre AND CHRIS PAUL pick n roll >>>>> mike conley and gasol.

Your getting them confused. Blake Griffin = Exciting all star player. Caron Butler = Solid Player. Jordan = Young unproven player. This was about front courts. Nothing to do with Chris Paul.

The Knicks are the Hardest to defend and the best. Anytime you have two 25+ point scoring players in your frontline, you open up outside shots for the rest of your tesm, but sticking to just three players, The Knicks by far. Amare get you 25 and 8, Melo gets you 25 and 6, and Chandler gives you 10 and 9 with premier defense. That is all you could ask of a frontline. Scoring, decent rebounding, and a big that can clog up the middle on D.

However, if the Lakers get a guy like Kevin Martin, that can’t play the 1 but can’t really play the 3 either, and Kobe slides down to the 3, than the Lakers would have the best front line. That frontline would be balanced, and have good size inside.

And prior to the Odom trade, I would have also chosen the Lakers over the Knicks. Sure they don’t score as much, but they have a size and length advantage, and Odom can also run the offense at times.

I agree with Joewolf, it’s the Grizz and not the knicks.  The Grizz have a complete frontcourt on both ends of the floor, all three can score.  The only Knick that really has the ability to post up is Melo and neither of them are great passers whereas the Grizz keep that rock moving and both Gasol and Randolph can post up.  They hit you inside, outside and on the break.  Grizz imo

For hardest to defend i would go with the clippers with all that athleticism and size. The Grizz’ are a VERY close second in my opinion.

Um, Future Scout, If you really want to be a scout than you should read the tittle of YOUR OWN THREAD. It says best FRONTCOURT. CP3 plays in the BACKCOUT. The excting all-star was Blake, the solid player is Caron Butler, and the Unproven player is DeAndre Butler.

ok…my bad. the point im trying to make is that chris paul makes them more of a threat.  knicks r better individually but IMO the clips front court is harder to defend because of paul, billups, and wiliams facilitating. they have the best pick and roll with griffin/deandre and PAUL/billups/mo williams vs. amare/tyson and baron/meloand

Lakers…? Not saying they’re the best but they should be up there.

    Artest
    Gasol
    Bynum

Even without Odom… that front court is still great. Artest may not bring much consistently… but those two 7 footers still cause trouble

I’d take the Grizzlies > Knicks.

Melo and Stoudemire are great scorers but they don’t really play with their backs to the basket and punish defenders down low. Chandler has no moves, and especially without a point guard he won’t be able to do much offensively.

Grizzlies frontcourt combines perimeter offense + athleticism (Gay) with low post scoring and rebounding (ZBo and Marc Gasol)

My bad, no wonder I’m getting so many negs, I meant DeAndre JORDAN, not DeAndre BUTLER, lol.

I really can’t think of another power forward in the league better at creating his shot than Z Bo, I gotta go with the Grizz too.  Gasol is a top 10 center, Z Bo is a top 5 power forward and Gay is a top 5 small forward when healthy.  I don’t care who is throwing the ball to them.  Strictly speaking front courts, I go with the Grizz.

    51.6 ppg 25.4 rpg 7.5 apg 3.4 spg 3.1 bpg…..damn

Well, the Knicks frontcourt had 61 ppg, 24.9 rpg, 3.6 blocks, 2.3 steals, 5.9 apg, and Chandler would have scored more had he been on the Knicks, who didn’t have much scoring beside AOnthony, Stoudemire, Buillups, and Fields. More scoring, but with Tyson Chandler in the middle, he takes care of the defense..

    Miller – James – Bosh

but if I have to choose from who you put, I’d say Amar’e, Melo, and Chandler.  Possibly Gay-ZBo-Gasol depending on how healthy Gay is and how improved Gasol is.
