    So after watching Renardo Sidney do virtually nothing against Kentucky the other night, it got me thinking, who do you think are the laziest ACTIVE (that rules out Eddy Curry- you know he’d be a unanimous pick) players in the NBA at each position? Lazy can mean: not living up to potential, being completely disinterested in defense, doesn’t give full effort, etc. Here are my candidates:

    PG- Monta Ellis, Baron Davis (not so much this year, just reputation)

    SG- Sasha Vujacic, Tyreke Evans

    SF- Rashard Lewis, Michael Beasley

    PF- Drew Gooden, Zach Randolph

    C- Kwame Brown

     

    I had a hard time coming up with players, most guys bring it the majority of the time. Some of these guys should be WAY better than they are, some of these guys don’t even know what defense is, some of these guys get numbers but don’t care as much about teamwork, etc. What do y’all think?

    Monta Ellis? Really?  Have you seen this guy on the court?

    You are aware that Zach Randolph is one of the better rebounders in the league right?  Rebounds is nothing but hustle.

    Kwame Brown has improved much as of late.

     Totally unfair to include monta on this list. He plays in a horrible defense, and was one of the few solid defenders before he was called on to play 40 minutes a night and carry the scoring load.

     

    not sure about some of the others, but I would add:

     oj mayo, was a big fan till this year, his play as of late has been lazy as hell which is y he lost his starting spot, he dont hustle, he plays slow on offense, is a defensive liability…..u get the idea

    Zach Randolph isnt lazy at all. Sure, hes a loose cannon, and he takes some REALLY REALLY dumb shots, but you dont average 13 boards per game if your lazy. That man works his ass off, hes just alittle bit crazy, thats all.
