What y'all think?
It looks just like 2k13 and 2k12 as far as trailers goes. The gameplay, improved game-modes, and added game-modes is really the only thing different.
I'm gonna buy the game just because I need my NBA fix but this game has been digressing since the GOAT of all basketball games NBA 2K11. 2K12 was much better than 2K13 by a mile since they wanted to force Jay Z in your face with 2K13 and forget all about the most important thing; gameplay. I feel like this year ill still be playing more College Hoops 2K (with updated rosters of course), College Hoops has everything NBA2K should have (blocked dunks, realistic falls on dribble mvoes, nice passing) I mean of course it has its flaws but for a game that was made in 2007, I still prefer it over NBA2K. Seems like NBA2K is getting lazy because they've obliterated all competition.
They added blocking dunks this year. Didn't you see Josh Smith block the dunk attempt in the trailer?
I gotta disagree...IMO 2K gets better every year. There is something new to make you buy each game. The new moves they added in the trailer look dope as hell...look at my man Terrence Ross getting some pub!
I really want to see the difference in games when played on the 360 and the One. If there isn't a major difference I will just buy 2k14 for my 360 and be happy. And yeah, I agree it does look like 2k13 imo. But I'd love some new teams and game modes, I really hope they have Reggies Pacers in this team!
This is the exact same game with a upgraded/new game modes, and the 13 draft class. We won't see a real new 2k till the next gen console. Animations, gameplay etc. Xbox 360 will be offering the exact same build as 2k13. I wont waist my time I rather wait it out.
Yea, it looks pretty much the same *BUT* I'm excited to see that we can block dunks again. There were also a few new moves I seen, like that 360 layup by Monta Ellis. Also James Harden did the little thing he does after he makes a three. I also think playing with LBJ in this game will be a completely different experience. Looks like they brought him completely to life in this one.
Kent Bazemore's bench celebrations!
