don042488ParticipantI don’t know how NBA 2K 15 is for PS4 & Xbox 1, but for PS3 it could use a lot of work…Gordon Hayward, Alexey Shyved, and Tony Snell all have their old hair dues, and not the new short cuts they currently have…The halftime report is silent, with no one commentating it…Every player and coach who are brunette (have brown hair) has jed black hair instead…The soundtrack for the game seems like the shortest it’s been in a long time, Pharrell did a terrible job picking songs…There’s no latest songs out on the 2K 15 soundtrack…They’re so many songs out with basketball references like "Drake’s "0 to 100", Troy Ave’s "All About The Money", and etc…Songs that will pump you up with a basketball/team concept to it, like YT Triz’s "How Can I Lose", Rae Sremmurd’s "No Flex Zone", T.I.’s "No Mediocre", and etc…The foreign teams have created players instead of the actual real players…And etc, they rushed the game and Pharrell picking the playlist was a huge mistake…Even when you turn on the game there isn’t a movie trailer for Durant like they did for LeBron for 2K 14, it just goes straight to the main screen when you turn on the game…They could’ve been creative and use Durant’s MVP speech in a short movie trailer, especially when he said "You Are the Real MVP", and then show samples of the game after that…No creativity at all, very disappointed in 2K 15…I’m interested to see how NBA Live ‘ 15 stacks against it

i’m jus so offendedParticipantThis is one of the very few times I will agree with you. Can anyone find 2kShare on the PS4 or is it gone? I hate that they continue to curb the customization of players and such and focus on games modes. This franchise has not been the same since the revolutionary 2K10, I don’t care what the reviews say.

Lotto StudParticipantMKG’s old shooting form is the reason to why I do not want to use the Hornets. They must find a patch ASAP for this.

BTW changing it does me no good if I want to use the Hornets for Online Head-To-Head play, which is the only feat I use the game for.

mcbaileyParticipantFrom what I understand, the next gen versions are completely different games. 2k14 and 2k15 on PS3 and 360 are essentially no different from 2k13.
Also, idk what you’re wanting 2kShare for, but if you’re looking for draft classes or roster, you can just download some from the create rosters/draft class option.

don042488ParticipantThe NBA allows for 13 players to be on an active roster, with 2 players on the injured list, but 2K 14 & 2K 15 instead has 12 active players, with 3 on the injured list

CynthiaParticipantAre you sure? I currently have 13 players on my roster(MyGM) and I can sub all 13 in. I’d need to sign another guy to see if he goes to IR or if he’s playable as well. I’ll try it out later when I’m home.

Ghost01ParticipantOn Xbox One it is definitely is better than 2K14 on 360 was, but at the same time the game could use work.
The player and coach graphics are very good, the halftime/pre-game/post-game is realistic with interviews and such…but the gameplay is the same as it always has been (which is fine for the most part). They really changed the menu and game mode screens, which really do nothing except make it more confusing. MyPlayer mode features a storyline with a lot of cut scenes, but to this point it has been nothing special.

benny15ParticipantIve played the game on both the PS3 and the PS4 and there is a big difference between the two, and im not just talking about the graphics.
in the PS4, the game play is more realistic and much smoother. when youre playing defense, you have to be very carefull with the turbo button on since if you make a wrong turn, it wont let you change directions as sharp as what youre doing with the joy stick. it feels like moving latterally with the turbo on is more difficult due to the momentum you have going. i find it more realistic and a good addition to the game.
what i dont like though is that a lot of close to the basket shots dont go in even though they should be a given. even when the deffense is trailing and scrambling and the offensive player is in good position, the offensive player would miss a lot of bunnies in a higher rate than i would want,
i also dont like the ammount of times a player misses dunks. if it would happen once in a while it would be fine. but i played 5 games and saw it happen 3 times. how often do miss dunks happen in real life? and im not talking about fancy power dunks, these are open fast break plain dunks. one was even a 2 handed flush.
shooting mechanics is still good and passing has become harder which i kinda like. they made the outlet pass even harder from the previous version which i really like. i also dont know if its just me, but home team seem to have an easier time with scoring which i think should be good and more of what we would expect with home court advantage, over-all a good upgrade in game play for me and worth a buy if you own a PS4
the PS3 version though feels that theres very little change. game play is simillar only that the defense seems to be easier honestly. some of the players seem to have a difference in the timing on their shots like kevin martin. overall, if you just wanted the updated roster and ratings, i suppose you can shell out the cash for it. but it seems to me like they are trying to push people to upgrade to the PS4 with the large difference in game play quality.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’ve been playing NBA 2K15 on Xbox One since it’s release and I’m very disappointed.
– Playing online is still damn near unplayable due to NBA 2K’s servers. The lag is unbearable and it feels like you have to do things 2-3 steps ahead. Your players feel like they’re on skates when trying to play defense. Playing on ball defense is damn near impossible.
– The shot meter is trash period. It’s so damn hard to get a perfect release. Imagine trying to get a perfect release online with the lag. It’s a complete joke.
– Face scan? Ha!
– I actually think 2K may have taken a step or two backwards in regards to responsiveness when your controlling your player. Like I said above… It’s either lagging or doing things too late.
– You miss hell of layups and easy shots.
I’m just disappointed in this game and I’m actually considering being DONE with 2K. I didn’t even talk about the server problems with MyTeam, etc. They’ve become content and improving is no longer they’re concern. They add bells and whistles, but don’t fix the actual problems. I’m tired of their promises to fix the servers too. They won’t be getting my $60+ anymore.

mcbaileyParticipantThat’s…not the experience I’ve had. If I had to make a complaint about the shot meter, I’d actually say it’s too easy to get a perfect release with good shooters. Bad shooters are naturally harder to get perfect releases on, but then again, I shoot a pretty high percentage on Rubio jump shots. The face scan is better when you actually follow the directions, which is I problem I had at first. I was sitting too far away from the camera, and in a setting that didn’t have enough light. Sitting six to twelve inches away from the camera (like it says) helped a lot, and I got a much better result sitting next to a window.
All in all, this is the best game of a series that I’ve been playing for a decade. It gets better every year. I respect your opinion, and you do have some valid points about the servers, but yeah. I like it.

Ghost01ParticipantAnother thing that sucks is it still will have inbounding situations where the ref waits like 15 seconds to give you the ball.
The graphics have improved, and I like it better than previous games, but it isn’t a major upgrade by any means.
The help defense by the CPU is laughable.

CynthiaParticipantThe game is great. I play it on PC with a gamepad. So I can understand if my graphics are superior to both new and old gen consoles. I don’t have any of the hair issues Don mentioned, the hair looks exceptionally realistic, and unlike previous titles the hair colour actually looks realistic too.
I don’t really play 2K online so I can’t comment much on most peoples issues with the servers, the first couple days my autosaves to the servers were a little slow but since then it’s been no problem.
As for the shot meter, if you don’t like it then don’t use it. Go into options and set shooting & freethrows to Realistic %. I ONLY play 2K on realistic percentage, it makes the players seem more authentic and you will make a lot more shots than trying to lineup the perfect meter. It will also realistically allow players to go in slumps or get really hot, it’s nice how it always balances out.
I played the previous titles on old gen, and frankly it sucked. It’s probably why I’m so amazed this year going from PS3 to PC. The difference is incredible.

machu46ParticipantI guess I just got lucky with my copy of 2K because this has been easily the best basketball game I’ve ever played. Playing against the AI feels so much more realistic this year than in year’s past. Teams like the Knicks actually run the triangle, while teams like the Spurs play as close to their real selves as I’ve ever seen.
MyCareer is a huge improvement going from Xbox 360 last year to PS4 this year, and for as much criticism as MyGM received last year, it’s been a blast for me to play. MyLeague is probably my favorite mode at the moment, but I honestly can’t decide between the 3. They’ve also made drastic improvements to the injury system, gameplanning features, generated draft classes, the ability to create draft classes, and the scouting of prospects.
And for me, I haven’t had many issues with the online part yet. I got dropped from my first MyPark game, but since then, it’s been pretty much lag-free the entire time, and when you team up with guys that actually know what they’re doing and are willing to play like a team, it’s a blast.
The FaceScan feature isn’t perfect. I’ve gotten really good at getting a good scan, but unfortunately, my face is whiter than the available skin tones, so my face doesn’t quite match the rest of my body.
With a few tweaks that are likely to come in the patch that is currently pending approval, I think this could be one of my favorite sports games of all-time.

rich.homie.mitchParticipantI’ve been playing 2k Online Head-to-Head and it’s very hard from my expierence. I’m not sure if the servers are lagging because when I play defense it feels like I got boots on, this might just be how they’re trying to make the game more realistic. The shot meter is impossible to get a perfect more of luck than anything. I don’t even like playing 2k head-to-head any more cause of this and this is what I enjoy the most. Now I only enjoy 2k my carrer.

SpinCycle88ParticipantI have had 2K15 since the release, and I have to say, I have tried my absolute hardest NOT to give up on it……
- The online experience has been bad….. And this is coming from a long time fan and supporter of the 2K franchise. IF the server is working, it lags BAAAD!
- The 2K network is terrible… Plain and simple.
- MyPark is a lost cause. If it allows me to stay on long enough to join a game, I get cut off mid game. I have yet to win a game and trust, it is not because of a lack of skill or effort.
- The shot meter is ok…. Not bad, not good, just ok
- I do like the MyLeague and MyGM modes. That has weirdly been the saving grace for me.
- I won’t even get my hopes up about the Live Rosters because of the 2K servers. It got so bad that I was checking my own internet connection thinking that was the problem. It’s not……
All in all, I have not given up on 2K, but I am damn close…. I picked up NBA Live…. *shutters* This needs to get fixed!

IndianaBasketballParticipant“It got so bad that I was checking my own internet connection thinking that was the problem. It’s not……”
I had to literally laugh out loud at this because I’ve checked everything from my internet connection to my controllers. Like I’ve literally had my internet service come out and check it, and I’ve returned controllers. Still… No change. It’s not my stuff… It’s the 2K servers and it has been for years. This is what I’m fed up the most about. I’m sick and tired of the lagging online.
Not only that… Like I said… This game just doesn’t “control” as good. The responsive time. The players feel slow. And like I said above… I feel like you miss too many easy layups.
The game looks phenomenal. They’ve added a lot of little details that make the NBA great. They’ve improved a few things here and there. However, a lot of the main issues still exist with 2K.

Lotto StudParticipantI haven’t had any issues with the servers since the day of the game’s release. Just the other day, a PSN friend of mine had been stating the servers are giving him issues as well. The thing is, he plays Madden without any issues. So the root of the problem has to be through the game itself.

CynthiaParticipantThey feel slow and less responsive because they’re making the game more realistic. This is supposed to be a basketball simulation, not NBA Jam or NBA Street. Even just last year the way players could turn on a dime is absolutely not realistic. I for one love the changes, I like the simulation, and as I said before put it on Realistic % and you won’t miss as many layups.
Also I’m not sure how you typically perform your layups but if you use the joystick then toggle it in the direction you want the layup to go, especially if you’re being guarded closely, it will increase your chances. If you just do a basic layup with the shot button then you will decrease your chance to make it and increase the chance of being blocked because then it’s up to the AI to choose how he does the layup. It all comes down to a mathmatical chance of making the shot. It factors in your players layup skill, the angle, who the defender is, how close the defender is, if there’s contact or not, etc. then boils it all down into a % chance of making the shot.

GoJOSH HUESTISParticipantI have it on xbox one and it is GREAAAAAT. I’m not really much of a online player so I can’t speak on that but I love everything else. The 2kshare is basically the create player/teams/draft class section and I can’t remember the name but some guy created next years class and they look just like the players (especially Cliff Alexander). My one complaint is the face scan, it is down right horrible. First it take for ever for the red box to finally turn green and then when it’s done you pretty much look like a monster

username_takenParticipantI honestly haven’t had any server issues, I seem to be an anomaly though, Great game, only a few flaws I can think of that bug me at all, and they’re not major ones.

llperezI’m curious if the server problems are worse with ps4 owners vs xbox owners because is play destiny and I hear ps4 guys complain about dropped servers constantly but it seems to be fine on xbox.

machu46ParticipantPersonally, the PS4 servers for Destiny has been the best experience I’ve ever had online. Haven’t had even a slight bit of lag in any game I’ve played.

GoJOSH HUESTISParticipantI’m just happy that the computer no longer gets every single offensive rebound
