nateoak10ParticipantI used the lottery machine to determine the positioning
1. Twolves – Kyrie Irving – KHHHHHAAAAAAAANNNNN loves PG’s…. But either way they wanted to trade Flynn and Rubio may not ever play there. They can trade Rubio or Irving now if they want
2.WAS – Sullinger – Blatche your starting PF? Ewwwwww, this one is obvious
3. Utah – LAC… sigh. Anyway I’m saying Perry Jones, they need to swing for potential w/o DWill now and they need a SF
4. Cavs – Ouch, fell down to 4. I say Terrence Jones to fill the SF hole
5. Sac – Derrick Williams, they need a SF and a PF
6. Tdot – Kanter cause Bargs is not an NBA center
7. Cavs – Jonas cause of high potential and a need of a center better then Varejao
8. DET – Barnes since Prince is a FA and they are stuck without any sort of high potential guy
9. MIL – Hamilton, they lack any sort of outside SG threat right now or a SF threat. They need offense
10. CHA – Donatas, they lack scoring and bigs. Donatas is both
11. GSW – Leonard since they suck on the boards and defense and need another wing badly
12. HOU – Vesley , seems like a Morey guy and they need SF’s since TWill is flaming out there
13. PHX – Freddette as Nash’s protege
14. UTAH – Knight…. Reach? Yes. Fill need? Yes

ilike.panochasParticipantFor the Warriors, I actually like Chris Singleton for them and I like him better than Leonard. Singleton has better outside shot and racks up both steals and blocks, he reminds me of a poor man Josh Smith. Although I do think either one is a reach in the lottery, but that’s what you get for having a weak draft class.

blackflash234ParticipantI think Washington will go with a small forward with their pick this year because that seems to be their biggest need. Blatche is proving the Wizards wrong so far this season with the extension they gave to him with that kind of minimal effort but i won’t write him out just yet.
I agree with your assessment on Bargs not being an NBA center. The dude has all the talent in the world but Toronto has him playing the wrong position. They need to either move him or move Ed Davis. It’s really up for grabs who they pick but if Irving’s still available, they won’t pass on him.
Utah won’t go with another PG . They’ll go with the best available SG available so that could iehter be Hamilton if he’s still avaiable ot Alec Burks.

lalailaParticipant#14 for Knight is a reach? tell it one again after at least couple of year when he will finally be in his early 20s..

SwatLakeCityParticipantI agree with backflash if Utah gets the 14th pick they will go with a SG. Both Hamilton or Burks seem like possible selections. The Jazz do need a star but I don’t think Perry Jones is the answer. I think he will end up playing the 4 in the NBA and that is one position that the Jazz do not need. You might want to try Harris Barnes. He seems like the perfect Jazz player, plays the 3 and he has a ton of potential. I could see them going for Barnes with the Jersey pick.
The Bucks also need a 4. Right now they use Ilyasova and he is a better backup. They have too many wings. Roberts, Maggette, Deflino, Salmons, and the possibility of Redd playing well. I doubt they go for a 2. They might go for Vesely and play him at the 4.
And Pheoniz already has a guy to fill in for Nash when he retires. Thats why they went and got Aaron Brooks. It would stupid for them to pick Jimmer.

Moon RiverParticipantThe Bucks have Gooden at the PF and drafted Larry Sanders last year who will play that position as well. I don’t see them going with a PF in the draft. I could see a SG who can actually get to the rim rather than just Delfino and Salmons. I don’t consider Magette a long term Buck as he is an expiring contract after this year.

HitsterParticipantAaron Brooks is a restricted FA and Lon Babby and Lance Blanks saide at the press conference after the trade they were in a very favourable position to resign him. Which I would read as if he looks good at Phoenix then they will want to keep him.
I don’t like using lottery machines to do mocks with, best to use existing positions until actual draft lottery is done.

HadzialijagicParticipantIf the pistons have that 8th pick they better be trading up or down. The pistons NEED to draft another big man. We are already log jammed on the perimter. Bynum, Stuckey, White, Hamilton(i know he’s not playing), Prince, McGrady, Gordon, Villanueva and Daye. Another thing i predict the pistons to slide down the standings a bit more. I’d want them to draft Williams Sullinger Kanter or Jones
