This guy is going insane right now! 12-0 by the Bulls in the last two minutes to close the gap to within 2 with only 1:19 left in the 4th.
All 12 points by Nate Robinson!
Tie game now, 23.9 seconds left. Nets ball. Joe Johnson anybody?
Robinson again! Banks a floater from just inside the three point line to give the Bulls a 2 point lead with 1.7 seconds left in OT!
I'm going to be really late to work because of this game
GREAT GAME.....but I check the boxscore for the Clippers and Grizz game and I see my boy Bledsoe goin off in the 1st half(7pts,3ast,2rebs,1stl,blk) FML!!!!!!
LOL I said the same thing, FML!! I'm trying to see my boy get off!
I love nate and feel he will play at a high level for at least another 5 years.
Bad news is that now he going to have a kobe complex. The bulls are never going to be able to get him to stop shooting!
Nate Robinson is probably the most underpaid player in the NBA this season
Nate is a Baller...Even though he's been on alot of teams and has his flaws...He's always on the floor in the 4th quarter of close games...........The Perfect 6th man....
What's amazing is what Chicago has done this season without Rose. You look at a lot of teams, they lose there best players, and they lie down. Maybe the Bulls kinda did that last year, but this year they have been just remarkable. They play with so much heart, they get the absolute most out of every single player on their team, and they always find a way to win games they shouldn't. I don't think they are going to beat Miami. But I do think they will find a way to win a couple games.
And as a Bulls fan, I am hoping some kind of way the inspiring effort against this Nets team, mixed with the Miami Heat looming could make Derrick Rose change his mind about this season. I know he has no plans of coming back, but under these circumstances, I think he has to at least be entertaining it in his mind. It was interesting to me his brother out of nowhere said he was 90% yesterday...not sure if that's a good thing, but its something. That would be some story.
I don't think the Bulls laid down last year. It's just a huge adjustment when you are basically running all the plays through one guy, plus losing Noah is huge. Rose is their best player, but Noah is their leader in my opinion. I think Thibs would be smart to use what he has learned this year on offense and integrate it with the team next year. You can run some of the offense through Noah, make an effort to get Boozer the ball, etc. If he does that, it will take some pressure and wear of of Rose, as well as likely make everyone more efficient.
The Bulls are always going to be a tough out because of how hard they play and everyone has bought into what the coach wants them to do. It's no ego. Basically a bunch of guys that just want to win and like playing with each other. My only real concern for the team going forward is Thibs inability to handle guys' minutes. He may run some of these guys into the ground early.
