     1) They hate to lose.

This myth is betrayed by their lazy defense, and general laziness. If they hate to lose so much, why do they try to win so half-heartedly.

    2) They are unselfish.

If they were unselfish, why are they so damn lazy? Why do they only look to pass when they can get an assist out of it?

    3) They make their teammates better

O really? This myth relies on the logical fallacy that if they rack up assists, it must be making their teammates better. They can’t stretch the floor for their teammates, so all of their teammates get extra defensive attention. Their play is entirely predictable, because of their huge flaws, which makes their teams much easier to defend.

    4) Everybody would love to have them

Rondo had to go crawling to Sacramento just to get a contract. Now that he’s stopped playing defense yet again, Rondo will once again be surprised to find his free agency market a lot cooler than he thinks.

Simmons believes all his own hype, and thinks he can shut down and quit on his team right in the middle of the season, before he’s even once laid it all on the line and played all out for his team. Simmons thinks every team would be thrilled to have him as the #1 pick in the draft, but like with Rondo, only Stans believe Simmons has a magical, invincible aura of hype.

    One More Myth about Simmons:

    He’s ambidextrous.

No he’s not, he’s right handed, and shoots 97% of his shots with his right hand. Does that seem ambidextrous to you? The only thing he does with his left hand is NOT shoot jumpers.

Isn’t it amazing how many myths can arise and stubbornly stick to a media creation of a prospect?

Ben Simmons is part Rondo, part Al Jefferson.

And millions of fanboys will gladly watch him put up empty stats for 10 years, full of excuses the whole time. Just like with Rondo’s hardcore stans.

The hate is strong with that one. I have seen Simmons several times, starting with when he was 14. He has improved so much, changed his body, refined his handles. I am sure his shot will be next. As for his attitude, you are competely right. He is a kid. A very nice one, too, from my interactions with him. He will be fine. People need to chill. He isn’t out robbing old ladies, missing shots on his own rim for a triple double, or anything! He had a bad  day at the office as a young freshman.

Something about this poster’s style reminds me of Stephan A. Smith.

Not the Stephen A. Smith that called Jaylen Rose a N**** on live TV…

But the Stephen A. Smith who said Porzingis will be the best player in the draft and an immediate contributor on the Knicks before anyone else.

Let’s call a spade a spade here.  This isn’t just "some poster".  This is T-Rex.  He has to let the world know that he was the first person to find a top 2 prospect.

Last year he was even so far ahead of everyone else he got first eyes on the guy who got drafted 4th.

Lol I actually wonder what kinda dude t-rex is. Hook me up Trizket.

He could be majorly pimped out, breaking heaps of honey’s hearts throughout Boston, made so much dough that he can kick back in retirement and just watch basketball, create prospect vids and post draft musings online.

He’s a 17 year old Irish kid that has never played basketball before with a Celine Dion poster on the wall and a statue of Brian Scalabrine next to his bed.

Even before the season started, there were questions about Simmons ability to get along with teammates. Just like Rondo at Kentucky.

Rondo has found his perfect fit in Sacramento. A crap team with a fan base that is happy enough with Rondo’s stats, which never expects to actually win.

Lakers would be a perfect situation for Simmons. He’ll be worshipped by the fan base of aspiring celebrities, and he’ll be able to pick up right where Kobe left off.

The only way Simmons wins a title is the same way Rondo won a title. Surround him with Hall of Famers who compliment his game perfectly, and who hold him accountable.

Not gonna happen without a lot of luck.

In Rondo’s rookie year, before KG and Ray Allen showed up, Doc said to Rondo, "Do you realize your teammates hate playing with you?"

If you think Simmons’ elitist attitude toward teammates (which shows a total lack of leadership) will disappear in the NBA, you’re wrong. Because Simmons, like Rondo, will still be more talented than 80-95% of his teammates.

Do you really think Simmons attitude toward teammates will be different on the 76ers, Lakers, or even Wolves?

Simmons can’t even show up to his classes for the sake of his team now. That’s just low character.

Character, like leadership, doesn’t just come and go.

Celtics fans learned that the hard way with Rondo. Some other team will learn it with Simmons.

You know… as soon as the Celtics win the lottery and draft this guy, you’ll be thinking he’s the next Lebron too.

Think about Rondo last season, as a 28 year old veteran, traded to an awesome winner of a franchise in Dallas, with a great coach and an awesome record.

That’s about the best situation a player like Simmons or Rondo could hope for, but Rondo refused to adapt to the team and obey his hall of fame coach.

So even if Simmons does get lucky and end up on a winning team with a good coach, is he really going to adapt his game, play off the ball more, and take the open jumpers that are given him?

    I bet no.

The people who think a 19 year old kid like Simmons can turn his character on and off are the same people who think that Ferguson’s Mike Brown would have become a doctor if he hadn’t been gunned down by a cop while trying to kill the cop.

Ben Simmons had 2 assists in his last game.  In the game before that he had 2 assists.

Is he not passing as much?

Ball dominant players like him should get a couple of dimes a night by accident.  4 or 5 if they are halfway trying.

Looks like his assist numbers are coming down…

and considering his playmaking skills and ball handling are his main selling points, his lack of assists recently and high turnover rate gives me cause for concern.
