Is he a franchise player? Do you think the pacers will make him the centerpiece when PG13 leaves?

Can he be a key piece of the franchise in Indiana? Yes. Can he be the franchise? No.

Big Turner fan (check the Avatar) and is frustrates me that he only gets under 11 shots a game, but I understand he just turned 21 and Indiana is trying to win not develop young talent. I can see Turner making multiple All-Star games maybe 3-4 in his career as that 2nd best player on a winning team, if Indiana builds around him I think you find that they would be a team in that constant 7-10 seed in East, but Turner would be putting up 20ppg+.

I think he should truly focus on being a defensive force as he is a freak shooter who can take his options as they come, I see his ceiling on a good team as a 18-19ppg, 8-9rpg and 2-3bpg which to me is a franchise piece, but he is a Kevin Love/Brook Lopez type in he could definitely get his but it may not translate to winning basketball.

KAT to me is #1 from the draft, I see Porzingis, Booker and Turner that step down but they will all contribute in different ways.

imo hes gonna be better than lopez, lopez is always the best player on a bad team. I would build my team around him.

Myles Turner could be a better shot blocking Chris Bosh based on your description, and I fully believe that he will be a multiple all star.

Turner for a center needs to get more rebounds. He tends to get off balance when bigs box him out. He also gets off-balance when guards attack him in the paint, making him commit a ton of avoidable fouls.

He’s had a very good second season and has improved his stats across the board. His 3 point range is developing nicely too, I ‘m not sure if he can be a legit 20ppg player but he can be a useful scorer as well as being a good defensive anchor for his team. His rebounding stats could be better but they will improve with time and being a good defender is the key for his position.

With PG13 going into the last year of his deal, it will be interesting to see what the Pacers do, it is an open secret that he has talked about going to the Lakers so they are unlikely to swoop for him and give up assets at this stage plus they owe future picks too. The Pacers may look to do moves to improve the yeam around PG13 or decide they cannot just let him walk and try to get some return on him.

Their best hope would be to find a contender or at least a team who think they could persuade PG13 to resign in 2013.
