Yeah, Barnes shouldnt be number one. He’s really played his way out of the spot.

Another thing, You gawked at Perry Jones averaging 2 turnovers a game. Correct me if i’m wrong, but 2 turnovers a game isnt a bad stat at all. Especially for a Big who plays with his style of play.

I think he’s doing a pretty good job, and its his lack of a takeover mentality as well that hurts him at times. He just disappears and gets lazy often. He likes to sit back and watch.

Also i think that Motiejunas should be on here over Vesely. Motie has really secured himself as the top Euro prospect with his play this year. He’s killin it right now

I like your suggestions guys but what is it about Barnes and Plumlee that makes you think they shouldn’t be so high?

Also, I think 2 turnovers per game for a big is bad considering Kemba Walker averages 2.1 and he is a point guard.

I’ve said it before, but I don’t like the Grant Hill comparison for Harrison Barnes, and I don’t think he’ll live up to that, unless maybe you mean the not-prime Hill. Hill was a slasher and quicker and more explosive than Barnes. He also played a lot of point-forward, which, from what I’ve seen, Barnes does not seem to be capable of yet. Barnes is also a far better shooter than Hill was at the same stage. I don’t hate him as a prospect, I think he’ll be good, I just don’t see the Hill comparison.

I’m not a big fan of Jones. I think he is a really tough guard in college because he is too big for a college 3 and too strong for a college 4, but he is a standard size NBA 3 without a consistent jumper.

Selby shouldn’t even be on the list, and Sullinger is too low.

But meh, this draft looks weak anyway.

… Still don’t understand what’s not to like about Plumlee from a prospect standpoint. He doesn’t have great polish, but he can develop that in the NBA.

As for the Barnes/Hill comparison, I agree, I’m not sure he’ll be as good as Hill once was… but, the reason I compare the two is because they have a similar style of play.

Right I know, I just don’t really see what is similar about their style of play.

Barnes has a great stroke but has trouble getting into the lane against college defenders. Hill did not have as good a stroke, but he was great at getting into the lane and finishing. He also could handle the ball better than Barnes can.

In the NBA, I see Barnes as more of an all around scorer, as opposed to a highflying point forward.

Has anyone really played there self into the number one spot?..Sullinger is a beast but height issues will be the question

Perry Jones is good but He hasn’t played like a number one pick. Same with barnes

Shelby is good but questionable about how good of a point guard he’s gonna be

    Irving is hurt

Kemba height and how well he will be as a NBA point guard.

    alot of questions this year.

lake show is correct….right now its just too hard to buy any of these guys.

News flash to the Barnes haters…Perry Jones hasnt been impressive either.

J Sullinger will not be a remotely effective pro.

I generally like your list, but even a guy like Terrence Jones might be alittle high. Im betting on the foreign guys going higher than expected.

I don’t agree about Sullinger not being effective as a pro. GM’s and scouts seem to think he will have a immediate impact and i agree with that. theres no evidence to think other wise. At this point he is clearly better then What the other undersized PF were when they were at the same stage in college. Anyone can see that by just watching him.

I like all of your points and agree. Sullinger has so much to like yet so much to worry about. Seems like a hit or miss guy to me.
