Feel free to ask why I have these teams ranked where they are and why I left out some highly ranked squads.
Most underrated: NC State, Mizzou, Tennessee, Pitt, UNLV
Most overrated: Duke, Kansas, Syracuse
Look out for my latest installment of ‘WATCH THE KRAP OUT FOR…"
Last year I had Louisville going all the way. The haters hated and all The Ville did was go to the Final Four.

I May Be BiasedParticipantHow is nc state #1 but still underrated?

Dale WorthingtonParticipantNC State’s underrated in terms of public perception (they’re ranked #6 in both the USA Today and AP Top 25).
#6 is no insult, but I feel a team loaded with that kind of athleticism, size, and shooting ability across the point, wing, and post…that team should be ranked #3 at worst. I’ve personally got them #1.
My most overrated and underrated is based purely on my rankings in comparison with the national rankings.

ChrisCrossParticipantWhat if Shabaaz is not cleared to play?

Dale WorthingtonParticipantThen that’ll drop UCLA out of my top 14 if not my top 20. They either won’t have enough on the wing IMO or they will have to move Kyle Anderson off the point and I really don’t trust Larry Drew II at the point.
Speaking of Anderson and Drew, has Coach Howland decided who’s starting at the 1?
btw, I think I dun goofed leaving Baylor off my top 14.
Yeah, it’s just 1 game, but Isaiah Austin asserting his will like that in 17 minutes against a decent Lehigh squad…wow, they’ve already got an elite playmaker in Pierre Jackson, an elite shooter in Heslip, an elite athlete in Bello, and some nice length in Cory Jefferson. Having a 7-footer in Austin who can shoot and create mismatches…Baylor could be a very dangerous squad this year.

Dale WorthingtonParticipantMichigan State looked stiff and unathletic. Probably would drop MSU and UCLA (assuming Shabazz is permanently gone) and plop in Baylor and Gonzaga or Syracuse.
