My mock draft 4/13 rest of first round

15. Detroit Pistons- Ty Lawson: Good fast point guard, good backup for rodney stuckey, who is improving his point guard skills.

16. Chicago Bulls- Tyreke Evans: With young, good point guards already, they take the best 2/3 available.

17. Philadelphia 16ers: James Johnson- Move Iguodala to the 2, and your missing a quality 3, Johnson can be that.

18. Minnesota Timberwolves- Sam Young: With them already drafting Jennings earlier, they dont need another point guard, they pick Sam Young as forward is thir biggest need.

19. Atlanta Hawks- Jonny Flynn- He slips a bit, but he gets drafted here because of Atlantas backup pg needs.

20. Dallas Mavericks: Dejuan Blair- I don't believe he will be that effective at the next level, because of his height, but he could POSSIBLY be a solid backup for Nowitzki

21. Utah Jazz- Terrence Williams: Lacking a quality 2, Williams is the best pick here for them .

22. New Orleans Hornets- Eric Maynor: They take a quality backup for Chris Paul here, as they dont have many holes in the roster .

23. Portland Trail Blazers- Jeff Teague: Even though is stock has fallen, i believe that teague is still one of the best pgs in the draft, i believe he will be able to start over blake if the blazers are able to steal him with this pick.

24. Sacramento Kings- Damion James: After already getting Griffin, the next biggest need is sf and pg. An athletic player, James is the pick here, and should help the team out.

25. Oklahoma City Thunder- Dionte Christmas: After going big with hill, the go guard, and take the best 2 guard available with Christmas. Patrick Mills is a good pick here also, moving westbrook to the 2

26. Chicago Bulls- Tyler Hansbrough- I dont think hes gonna be a great pro, but the championship improves his stock, getting picked by the bulls here.

27. Memphis Grizzlies: Patrick Mills: A STEAL this late in the round, can develope into a great point guard.

28. Minnesota Timberwolves-BJ Mullens: already taking young and jennings, they take the very risky pick BJ Mullens

29. LA Lakers- Gani Lawai: Someones gotta be there to rebound for that odd time Kobe does miss, and bynum has injury troubles.

30- Cleveland Cavaliers: Jeff Pendergraph: Good inside presence, can rebound and score inside.

I think this can actually be a good draft as long as every team selects the right players.

As a Bulls fan,Not sure if

As a Bulls fan,Not sure if he will be there, BUT Tyreke Evans would be a nice pick...he may not be a great fit for Rose but he deffinetly can play. As for the 2nd 1st rounder, i speak for most Chicago fans, the Bulls want BJ Mullens. We would probably take him with our 1st pick too. We need a center.

I think if the sixers wanted

I think if the sixers wanted to AI at the 2, Young would play the three very well. Only problem is AI is not a SG. I think they should try to fond a sharp shooting guard that is about 6'5 or so.

James Johnson to the sixers.

James Johnson to the sixers. TERRIBLE. They have Thaddeus Young, genius. Bulls would take Mullens before hansbrough any day and why would the Bulls take Tyreke. They have guards already.

15. Detroit Pistons- Ty

15. Detroit Pistons- Ty Lawson: Good fast point guard, good backup for rodney stuckey, who is improving his point guard skills.
(This could work as a change of pace guard but they do have two quality young guards so I would think they would sign a veteran and maybe draft the best available big since Wallace will be let go)

16. Chicago Bulls- Tyreke Evans: With young, good point guards already, they take the best 2/3 available.( this is confusing because they have John Salmon at a great deal. Why would you sign a 2 guard of Evans quality to annoy Salmons and also if they keep Hinrich, they are deep at that spot. Chicago needs young size BJ Mullens would be good because you give a year to develope behind Miller and Noah)

17. Philadelphia 16ers: James Johnson- Move Iguodala to the 2, and your missing a quality 3, Johnson can be that.(Truthfully Iguadala is more of a 3 as is Young so with them going fast and playing out of position they would need a solid 3 point specialist like Ellington or pick up a young playmaking point like lawson, or anyone left)

18. Minnesota Timberwolves- Sam Young: With them already drafting Jennings earlier, they dont need another point guard, they pick Sam Young as forward is thir biggest need.(I like Sam Young but they need a energy guard and they already have a Young type player in Gomes. I would suggest they trade this pick for a high second or grab and energy guy with some size)

19. Atlanta Hawks- Jonny Flynn- He slips a bit, but he gets drafted here because of Atlantas backup pg needs.(He will go back to school if he falls this low and I believe he will be lottery this year or be back at syracuse. They would be wise to grab a quality point though so they will not have to overpay Bibby)

20. Dallas Mavericks: Dejuan Blair- I don't believe he will be that effective at the next level, because of his height, but he could POSSIBLY be a solid backup for Nowitzki(Brandon Bass and Singleton have this role covered. They could use a young point with size or another defense minded big after trading Diop)

21. Utah Jazz- Terrence Williams: Lacking a quality 2, Williams is the best pick here for them .
(They could use a solid swingman or a bkup pf if Boozer or Milsap is let go)

22. New Orleans Hornets- Eric Maynor: They take a quality backup for Chris Paul here, as they dont have many holes in the roster .
(I like this pick up if Maynor last this long and also the Hornets will look at quality big men because their front court is a problem)

23. Portland Trail Blazers- Jeff Teague: Even though is stock has fallen, i believe that teague is still one of the best pgs in the draft, i believe he will be able to start over blake if the blazers are able to steal him with this pick.
(The have 3 solid point guards and with potential of bayless and veteran skills of Blake, they will not draft another point guard unless it is a top 5 talent and I do not believe they have any of those type of guards left at this point. They will probably draft a 3 point specialist at the swingman position or trade this pick because they are packed with young talent and need a few veterans or tough interior players.)

24. Sacramento Kings- Damion James: After already getting Griffin, the next biggest need is sf and pg. An athletic player, James is the pick here, and should help the team out.
( I believe they are good at sf but they could use some help at pg and I believe they will go that route, I will put my whole draft thing up so I can see who is left but I could maybe see them dealing with the clippers to get BD since the clippers look like they want to go in a new direction)

25. Oklahoma City Thunder- Dionte Christmas: After going big with hill, the go guard, and take the best 2 guard available with Christmas. Patrick Mills is a good pick here also, moving westbrook to the 2(They also signed Livington this year and have watson and atkins on the books so along with westbrook, sefoloosa, and maybe Durant at the 1 and 2, they may want to go with some toughness and if Blair is available this could be a good fit or else they can go with best availabe player. I would say the move the Thunder would make would be to trade this pick for a veteran and second round pick but if mills or someone with amazing ability fall this far they have to consider it)

26. Chicago Bulls- Tyler Hansbrough- I dont think hes gonna be a great pro, but the championship improves his stock, getting picked by the bulls here.
( I actually like this pick if there is noone more talented on the board because he is a energy hardworking guy they could rub off on some of the younger players like Tyrus Thomas.)

27. Memphis Grizzlies: Patrick Mills: A STEAL this late in the round, can develope into a great point guard.(This would be a Steal and also a good move for the Grizz but I doubt he falls this low)

28. Minnesota Timberwolves-BJ Mullens: already taking young and jennings, they take the very risky pick BJ Mullens(I don't believe Mullens will be available but if he is it would be a great pick up)

29. LA Lakers- Gani Lawai: Someones gotta be there to rebound for that odd time Kobe does miss, and bynum has injury troubles.(This would be a good draft pick if he stays in the draft because he is a lottery talent)

30- Cleveland Cavaliers: Jeff Pendergraph: Good inside presence, can rebound and score inside.
(I don't know if he would be the guy they would take since they drafted Hickson last year and have Joe Smith, Ben Wallace but they may lose Vajero. They still have old Z though. I can see them trading this pick for a vet and future second round picks unless someone slips they should not be here because I can't see them stuck with signing Pendergraph to play a position they are deep in.)

I hope you don't see me as hating on your picks because I respect anyone that does this but I am a little confused by your picks and the reasons because several picks are redundant pick as far as that team is and I could see that if the player if so much better but in some cases the players are suspect.
I would love to see you actually breakdown your picks with actual reverance of the team you have drafting them. I am kind of waiting on the season to end to really put time in putting mine out so i know some of the order and i would just have to guess on the lottery.

DIONTE

Dionte Christmas is nice as anybody out there. Only reason he isn't going top ten is because he doesn't play for one of the Power houses. He embarrassed Harden in the NCAA tourney. I dont see why he's not mentioned in the first round
