Lotto StudParticipantI like your mock with comments I actually have nothing negative to say but, I still think these players may sneak in the 1st rd Willie Warren, Armon Johnson, Avery Bradley, & Jordan Crawford
you get a point from me

jwet33Participantthis draft is horrible…really is….lacedarius dunn is staying, officially….singler is staying….why would the wolves select dom. jones, when they have TURNER, BREWER, ELLINGTON? Butler will def. not be in the first round…acl injury…you do know what I hope….I doubt hawyard drops that low……SOLOMON ALABI…2nd round, and late 2nd round? your crazy man…do you even watch bball? Scottie Reynolds mid 2nd round? wtf? Vernando/Warren/Brackins and especially Avery Bradley are first rounders….maybe not vernado…but cmon man do some more research!

IndianaBasketballParticipantGordon Hayward won’t fall that low. Bradley won’t fall into the second round. Good mock though.

nbeardstallion1ParticipantHayward getting drafted 20th will be high. He is not ready mentally or physically for the NBA. Especially, after getting waxed by Kyle Singler. The Spurs are very high on Singler and will definitely take him over Hayward. I’ll be surprised if Hayward stays in the draft. He needs to get tough for another year. He may get drafted this year, but he is years away from being a good NBA player or contributor.

nbeardstallion1ParticipantHayward isn’t as great as you think. He reminds me of Ryan Anderson who was drafted as a sophomore out of California. He was drafted high and has been riding pine for two years with the nets and magic. Similar physical make up to Hayward, but he played in a much better Pac-10 conference and was a much better shooter/player in college than Hayward. 15 and 8 in the Horizon League is pretty good, but not great. Stay another year Hayward.

cheesepillowParticipantagreed. If Aminu, Xavier and Monroe are gone for the Jazz, Aldrich is the next best pick in most cases.
Those are the four players I hope the Jazz will get if they have the mid-lottery pick

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantYou harp on me all the time about the Wes Johnson to Washington pick and you don’t have it in your mock?
Please explain because you annoyed me for the past two mocks about it….

SwatLakeCityParticipantAlot of people have Favors going to Washington lately. At first I didn’t like it but know I understand why it makes sense. I think you mixed it up, I liked Wes Johnson going to the Wizards, but now I think Favors is a better fit. especially with Thornton still being so young, and Magette being old. The warriors need to find someone to replace him. Randolph doesn’t really fit with the Warriors, but Johnson does.

sammybuckeye13ParticipantI just think there’s no way the Warriors take another wing player. With scoring guards like Curry and Ellis, and guys like Corey Maggette, Reggie Williams, Brandan Wright, Kelena Azubuike and Anthony Morrow on the wing, and no muscle inside, they’re DEFINITELY taking a big man, regardless of whether Wes Johnson’s left on the board or not.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantIt’s more funnier you said that since this guy said I had terrible picks.

mgreener_34ParticipantWhy Patterson over Ed Davis? Interesting pick, most people seem to be in love with Davis’ potential, and Patterson is never going to have that high of a ceiling.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantHow did I mix it up?
I always had Favors to Washington and Johnson to GSW. You complained everytime about it. I remember. Other than that a couple problems.
Henry at 7? Please Explain
James at 16?
Bledsoe at 18?
Butler at 26?0 - Posted on: Thu, 04/15/2010 - 4:55pm #283349

SwatLakeCityParticipantAlready explained Butler.
Henry is going seventh because the sixers really need some shooters. Henry is exactly that and athletic, just what the sixers love. I do see the sixers picking whiteside to replace Dalembert, but Whiteside going 7th is too much of a push. Especially with his bad performance against Jordan, and Davis.
James at 16, that is about where everyone has him, and he didn’t have that strong of a year. Maybe too high but remember I select picks based on team need and what teams usually do in drafts, not on who’s better.
Bledsoe, a lot of potential, teams see this and know it so even though he should have stayed at Kentucky, teams will recognize his potential and draft based on that, not his performance at Kentucky.
Just read my comments and you will see why I put players where I did.0 - Posted on: Thu, 04/15/2010 - 5:16pm #283382

SwatLakeCityParticipantyes butler did get hurt but teams will realize that he played quite well before hand and teams will recognize that and risk the injury especially teams that can wait on a SF’s.(look at Dejuan Blair, teams passed on him because of his missing acls and he ended up being the sleeper of the draft. I think Butler can do the same if he ends up going in Round 2. Im hoping teams will recognize that and draft late first where he belongs.) I see the warriors going big, but the last time I tried that, no one liked it and told me to use Johnson or Favors. I have Patterson over Davis, because the pacers like hard working, high caliber guys. Patterson fits that description perfectly, not Davis. I don’t chose the picks based on who’s better, but on team needs and what that team usually always does in drafts. Sorry for ranting on your guys’ picks but I am just stating my opinion. Is that wrong? I thought that that was what this site was for. Take some constructive criticism, Geez!!

SwatLakeCityParticipantthanks for the help nbardstallion1. that’s what I thought originally. I had Hayward going to 29th to the Magic and Singer at 21 to the spurs. Everyone bashed on me for it, so I changed it, thanks for your support. I am not quite so sure hayward should stay another year though, he was the star of Butler and they went all the way to the championship game. He had to have something to do with that. Teams do like him, but I still see him as a late first rounder.
