Ingham County Prosecutor Stuart Dunnings has decided not to press charges against two members of Michigan State’s men’s basketball team that were accused of sexual assault.

The Michigan Messenger reported on its Web site Wednesday that it had obtained a copy of a police report of the incident under the Freedom of Information Act.

The report alleges that the players assaulted a woman in the Wonders Hall dormitory on MSU’s campus on Aug. 29, according to the Messenger.

Dunnings said he did not pursue charges because prosecutors could not find evidence of coercion.

The MSU Police Department forwarded the report to the prosecutor’s office with a recommendation that the men be charged with criminal sexual conduct, according to the Web site.
