We love to talk about overpaid players (i.e. Eddy Curry, Rashard Lewis), but what about the most underpaid players? This are their contracts according to ESPN.com.
Yes, I understand most of these deals are their rookie deals.

    Atlantic Division:

Rajon Rondo – Arguably a Top 3 PG in the L. He helped the Celts clinch a 2nd NBA Finals appearance in 3 years after it seemed they would never reach that elite level again. Surely his play will earn him a new contract when his expires.
    – $2,094,923

Brook Lopez – Proved he’s a Top 5 center in the league. He has show signs of a future multiple time All-Star, solid 20-10-2 guy and with potential to maybe someday be a 25-12-3 guy, he will be a solid piece for the Brooklyn Nets moving forward.
    – $2,255,880

Wilson Chandler – Although playing on a stat inflated offense, he still needs to score against the other team’s defense so this kid can play. Young and talented averaging 15-5 last season. He could be the missing piece or a key bench player for a playoff level team.
    – $1,255,440

Thaddeus Young – Playing out of position. Playing in an offense that is not suited for him. Playing behind Brand, Iggy, and Lou Williams, the 22 year old managed to pull out a solid 14-5 for the regular season. If the 76ers don’t resign him, he’ll surely make 6-8mil elsewhere, right?
    – $2,105,400

I think it’s hard to say whether a player is under or overpaid until they are on their second contract following their rookie one. Players draft slots dictate how much they’ll be paid in the beginning of their career so I think it’s kind of hard to say they are under or overpaid. For instance, Rajon Rondo already has his extension for $10+ mil a year after his rookie deal finishes, so I wouldn’t say he’s underpaid. That’s just my take on it

How are people hating on brook lopez hes a machine. He can def average 25 points one day but i don’t ever see it happening because he will always have other players around him in the situation he;s in with the new owner wanting to sign half the league if there wasnt a cap. but i do agree that we need more examples of people who arent still on their rookie contract. if not nobody on this list should be on there rookie contract.
