I remember when Scottie Pippen was drafted…outside of the scouts nobody knew who this guy was!  Seattle picked him for Chicago.  I also remember Pip was profiled as a guy who could play PG…and in his interview he said that was eventually the position he wanted to settle into.  Ironic and a bit silly looking back that he was compared to Dennis Rodman.  One became the best rebounder of all time (perhaps) and another one of the greatest SF of all time and they won a championship together.  Chicago’s acquisition of him was one of the best of all-time without a doubt.  Pure genius.

One of my favorites was when Brook Lopez slipped and thought he had to at least go to the Bobcats and when they took DJ Augustin he started crying a little.

I don’t know why, but Priest Lauderdale in ’96 has always stuck with me. At 7’4" and 320+ he was the largest human I had ever seen to that point. Just look at him. Was a total stiff, though, but still one big mutha******.

When Stuart Scott was interviewing Deron Williams and stu said,  "Mike, seven tattoos on this man, still, character – all the time, character," followed by Williams with the look on his face that says, "Boy, did you really just say that?"

One I’m gonna remember from this year is when Chu Chu Madaubaum got drafted and VanGundy said, "I’m sorry but I dont know who this is."
